Hello Smogoners!! I decided to make a team based on one of my favorite megas, Charizard X. This team has been doing great, with a 8-2 record, the only 2 loses being haxes. I wanted to see what improvements this team can have, so please leave an RMT

Team building process
Started off with Charizard of course.
Next added manaphy, counters a large amount of charizards checks and counters and charizard also counters a large amount of manaphys checks and counters
Latios was a must, need a hazard remover but I also wanted it to hit hard and it helps out with a few checks of both zard and manaphy, and is a good revenge killer and with levitate it can be a good switch in for zard
Lucario was added since it covers up a large amount of checks and counters for all 3 pokes, especially latios, with justify it gets an attack boost when hit by a dark type and can counter most of latios’ checks and counters.
Clefable was next, i needed a stealth rocker and the fairy typing is great as it is immune to dragon and fighting and while clefable’s super effectives are resisted or immune. With clefable can also neuter revenge killers or sweeper with thunder wave which can make it easier for charizard or manaphy to set up and than sweep
Crawdaunt was last up since I needed an answer for scarf excadrill. It is a good revenge killer and it is always good to have a knock offer on your team.

The star of the team, Mega Charizard-X! Arguably the best Dragon Dancers in OU meta game.
I have the standard set with Flare Blitz, Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw and Earthquake. I prefer earthquake over roost for better coverage. Max 252 on attack and speed, the last 4 on Defense to keep the HP odd to survive more than 2 SR. It's jolly to outspeed other Charizards and base 100’s. It being jolly has actually saved my behind several times.
Manaphy @ Lumberry
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 96 HP / 252 SpA / 184 Spe
Timid Nature
- Energy Ball
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Tail Glow
Manaphy is a great teammate for Zard-X as it helps Zard take out many of its checks and counters while zard does the same for it. Manaphy has Tail Glow of course to boost it’s SpA dramatically. Energy ball to take care of other water types, Ice beam for dragons, and scald for Stab but is chosen over surf due to the burn chance. Timid nature and 184 speed lets it outspeed jolly Landorus-T. max SpA and the rest in bulk. Lum berry is great when an wall tries to status manaphy.

You always need hazard removal for a Charizard team. My team’s hazard removal and revenge killer.Of course defog for the hazard removal, psyshock and draco for STAB and thunderbolt for some coverage for the team as does have trouble bringing done azumarill and gyarados which can check or counter charizard-x, manaphy and Lucario.T-bolt can take down azumarill take out with some prior damage and OHKO gyarados. Life orb helps latios become a better wallbreaker. Timid and max Speed to outspeed or speed tie with base 110s pokes. 252 SpA to nuke pokes and the last 4 in HP

EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Close Combat
- Bullet Punch
- Extreme Speed
Lucario helps Latios with Bisharp and takes out a decent amount of the checks and counters that the poke above. Justified is great to help Latios since It gets +1 in attack whenever it is hit by a dark type move. I needed adamant more than jolly to get more of a power boost and the speed difference is not major. Crunch is for the bothersome ghost like gengar, close combat for Stab and also is great to help Latios. Bullet Punch is Stab and priority.Extreme speed is also for priority, which can be helpful when lucario is about to get KO’s.Life orb for more damage. Max Atk for max damage. 240 speed to outspeed adamant excadrill. Rest in HP
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunder Wave
- Moonblast
Clefable is a amazing addition to the team. Stealth rocks of course as it is my lead and stealth rocker.Soft-boiled for recovery. Thunder wave to neuter revenge killers and sweepers and makes my sweepers have an easier time sweeping. Moonblast for STAB. Leftovers for extra hp recovery and magic guard to not be affected by burn or toxic damage and hazard damage. I put max hp for bulk, 184 def to get 3HKO’d instead of 2HKO’d by psyshock life orb latios. The rest goes to Sp.D with a calm nature.

EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD

Crawdaunt was my last addition to the team. A wallbreaker, revenge killer and knocker offer made it a great addition to my team.Adaptability for the 2.0 STAB boost instead of 1.5 STAB boost. Adamant nature since the speed increase from a jolly nature is not much and the attack increase is even bigger with the help of adaptability. Aqua Jet for priority and STAB, Knock off for STAB, Crabhammer for STAB and Superpower for coverage. Choice Band for max damage.248 HP for Odd HP for 5 SR switch ins 252 Atk for max damage and rest in Sp.D
Team Threat List:
Choice Scarf Excadrill: can take out Charizard, Clefable, and Lucario. Excadrill can also leave a dent on latios.Without Crawdaunt or Manaphy, Excadrill can smash my team without those two.
Mega Manectric: With Flamethrower or Overheat, HP Ice and Thunderbolt it can take out Latios, Crawdaunt, Manaphy, and Lucario. The only the answer I have for it is Zard when it is already mega evolved.
Serperior:With Leaf Storm, HP Fire, Dragon Pulse and Glare it can possibly take out nearly my whole team, Charizard and Latios with Dragon Pulse, Manaphy and Crawdaunt with Leaf Storm, and Lucario with HP Fire. My best bet is for them not to have Dragon Pulse for Charizard or if it Glares me, I don’t get haxed or I use Clefable to Thunder wave it and then Flare Blitz it with Charizard
