[OVERVIEW]
Eldegoss is amazing entry hazard control due to it easily beating or taking advantage of common Stealth Rock setters like Diancie and Mudsdale. It's also able to provide lots of extra utility with Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, and Aromatherapy, which Tsareena and Dhelmise lack. On top of that, it gifts a Silvally-Ground check that doesn't have to constantly waste a turn to heal up but need only switch out, thanks to its amazing ability in Regenrator. It also excels at forcing chip damage through Leech Seed and Rocky Helmet, knocking Pokemon into range for its partners. Despite having so much utility, Eldegoss lacks Knock Off, so it can't force progress as well as other defensive Grass-types like Tangela, Tsareena, and Dhelmise can. It can also be taken advantage of, due to its low speed and inability to pivot, with U-turn, Volt Switch, or a coverage move from what it'd normally check like Silvally-Ground, Heliolisk, and Starmie.

Set Details
====
Leaf Storm can be run over Giga Drain, as you have an incentive to switch out due to Regenerator; however, it means you cannot stay out and attack for extended periods of time. Synthesis allows you to stay in for longer and not rely on Regenerator for healing, but Leech Seed can used to chip away at your opponent and heal up your partners. Sleep Powder can be abused with a setup sweeper or to get a slow wallbreaker in, but Aromatherapy can heal your teammates and keep them healthy. The given EV spread allows Eldegoss to outspeed Vaporeon while having as much Defense as possible, allowing it to be a better Silvally-Ground check. Heavy-Duty Boots is preferred as an item to ignore entry hazards, but Rocky Helmet can be run to punish physical attackers and pairs well with Synthesis.
For teammates, a Steel-type like Stakataka works well as a partner using Toxic to chip at Grass-types which hinder you making progress and giving it a switch-in to Flying-types like Talonflame, so Eldegoss takes care of the Water-types that scare it. Vaporeon and Gastrodon also work well as partners, switching into Fire-type attacks and either healing it up with Heal Bell or spreading status with Toxic, respectively. In return, they are given a way to threaten opposing Water-types. Xatu and Weezing are amazing partners too, as Eldegoss struggles against Fighting-type wallbreakers and isn't good as a standalone Silvally-Ground check. Because of Fighting- and Poison-types like Sirfetch'd, Toxicroak, and Salazzle, threatening Eldegoss, Indeedee-F works well as a partner scaring them away with its Psychic-type STAB. In return, Xatu, Weezing, and Indeedee-F are given hazard control. To take of Steel- and Grass-types, which wall Eldegoss, Talonflame and Salazzle make for decent teammates, and the former can also take care of Fighting-types. As compensation, they get hazard control, meaning they don't have to worry too much about Knock Off, and a way to pressure bulky Water-types like Mantine and Gastrodon.
Checks and Counters
====
**Super Effective coverage**: Due to its low Speed and passivity, Pokemon with super effective coverage can KO it after minimal chip or heavily dent Eldegoss like U-turn from Silvally-Ground or Ice Beam from the likes of Inteleon and Starmie.
**Grass-types**: If up against, a Grass-type like Decidueye, Tsareena, or Tangela, Eldegoss fails to make any progress as all of its attacks do nothing, and it can be crippled or taken advantage of by either being hit by Knock Off or set up upon.
