<p>Dugtrio is the fastest user of Stealth Rock in UU, making him an easy-to-use lead. Stealth Rock will help you throughout the battle, and Earthquake is an obvious choice for STAB. Dugtrio's base 120 Speed allows him to outrun Ambipom, the number one UU lead. Protect is used to keep Fake Out leads from breaking your Focus Sash. Sucker Punch is generally preferred in the last moveslot, as it is Dugtrio's only priority move, and can be used to finish off Alakazam should he return to the battlefield. It can be used for finishing off other Focus Sash leads, as long as they choose to attack as well. Stone Edge is another viable choice, which equips you with the nearly unresisted QuakeEdge combo.</p>
<p>The EVs and nature given are generally the way to go, although you only need 212 EVs in speed to always outrun Jolly Ambipom. The remaining EVs aren't very useful for anything else, however, as Speed and Attack are Dugtrio's highest stats.</p>
