Dual Screens (Tapu Koko) @ Light Clay
Ability: Electric Surge
Tera Type: Ghost / Flying
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Taunt
- U-turn

[SET COMMENTS]
Access to Light Screen and Reflect alongside an excellent Speed tier allows Tapu Koko to function as an effective dual screens setter in hyper offense teams. Taunt is a powerful tool on Tapu Koko, allowing it to prevent the use of Defog from the likes of Tornadus-T and Corviknight, deny setup from Pokemon such as Volcarona, Ogerpon-W, and Raging Bolt, and prevent opposing leads, such as Landorus-T and Ribombee, from setting up entry hazards. Tera Ghost is used solely for blocking Rapid Spin from Great Tusk, whereas Tera Flying allows Tapu Koko to safely set up dual screens in front of Ground-type Pokemon such as Gliscor and Landorus-T, though it should be noted that Tapu Koko rarely Terastallizes. Tapu Koko's Electric Surge is a powerful tool, allowing Hawlucha to reliably activate Unburden while also activating Quark Drive from the likes of Iron Valiant, Iron Crown, and Iron Boulder. Setup sweepers such as Volcarona, Zamazenta, and Mega Scizor appreciate Tapu Koko's dual screens, which allow for easier setup. Defog is able to remove Tapu Koko's dual screens and Electric Terrain, making Serperior, Encore variants of Iron Valiant and Ogerpon-W, and Taunt from Hisuan Samurott and Landorus-T solid options to use alongside Tapu Koko, as they can punish Defog users. Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and Iron Moth are able to outspeed and threaten to KO Tapu Koko, making teammates that can take advantage of them, such as Iron Valiant, Mega Gyarados, and Dragonite, excellent partners.

Access to Light Screen and Reflect alongside an excellent speed tier allows Tapu Koko to function as an effective lead in hyper offensive teams. Taunt is a powerful tool on Tapu Koko as it allows for it to keep its screens and Electric Terrain in the face of Defog from the likes of Tornadus-T and Corviknight, while also denying setup from Pokemon such as Volcarona, Ogerpon-W, and Raging Bolt. (you can also mention that taunt locks hazard leads especially webs) Tera Ghost is used solely for blocking Rapid Spin from Great Tusk, wheras Tera Flying allows Tapu Koko to safely set up screens in front of Ground-Type Pokemon such as Gliscor and Landorus-T. (point it out that you rarely click tera on koko) Tapu Koko's Electric Surge is a powerful tool, allowing Hawlucha to reliably activate its Unburden ability, while also activating Quark Drive from the likes of Iron Valiant, Iron Moth Iron Crown (moth doesn't fit on screen electric terrain as well as on those offensive ones, double dance or sole cm crown better), and Iron Boulder. Setup sweepers such as Volcarona, Zamazenta, and Mega Scizor appreciate Tapu Koko's screens which allow for easier setup. Defog is able to remove Tapu Koko's screens and Electric Terrain, and options to punish Defog include Serperior, Encore variants of Iron Valiant and Ogerpon-W, and Taunt from Hisuan Samurott and Landorus-T can be used to directly deny Defog.

Access to Light Screen and Reflect alongside an excellent speed tier allows Tapu Koko to function as an effective dual screens setter lead in u won't always be leading with it bc there's a higher chance of faster stuff just outright denying you screens ever (e.g. scarf lando, lop, etc) compared to actual dedicated leads like lando or glimm that can still make progress in spite of the opp being faster hyper offensive teams. Taunt is a powerful tool on Tapu Koko as it allows for it to prevent Defog from the likes of Tornadus-T and Corviknight, deny setup from Pokemon such as Volcarona, Ogerpon-W, and Raging Bolt, and can prevent opposing leads, such as Landorus-T and Ribombee, from setting up entry hazards. Tera Ghost is used solely for blocking Rapid Spin from Great Tusk, whereas wheras Tera Flying allows Tapu Koko to safely set up screens in front of Ground-Type Pokemon such as Gliscor and Landorus-T, though it should be noted that Tapu Koko rarely Terastalizes. Tapu Koko's Electric Surge is a powerful tool, allowing Hawlucha to reliably activate its Unburden ability, while also activating Quark Drive from the likes of Iron Valiant, Iron Crown, and Iron Boulder. Setup sweepers such as Volcarona, Zamazenta, and Mega Scizor appreciate Tapu Koko's screens which allow for easier setup. Defog is able to remove Tapu Koko's screens and Electric Terrain, making and options to punish Defog like include Serperior, Encore variants of Iron Valiant and Ogerpon-W, and Taunt from Hisuan Samurott and Landorus-T solid to use alongside it can be used to directly deny Defog.

add that some of the aforementioned partners can take advantage of bad lead mus for koko asw
