finally got some pencils, more drawing suplies and things.
Artist Advice, Tips, and info:
1. Prismacolor pencils cost a LOT, but I guess their worth it if they cost that much, and since their recommended, try some. (picked up some myself but I'm afraid to even sharpen them they cost so much lol)
2. don't touch the sharp end of the pencils (my cousin and brother made that mistake... in the same day....)
3. when you draw, try and draw in the same direction or in a circular motion, no matter what tool your using.
4. try checking out some totally hand drawn art, they actually aren't apreciated as much as those PS and Gimp ones, though they took longer to make.
5. when you critisize, make some compliments to.
6. there is an art school just for anime in miniapolis, US! (one word, epic. nuff said.)
7. don't draw in the dark, not only will it mess up your sight but it'll mess up your drawing.
8. first, draw in pencil, then outline in pen, sharpie, marker, whichever.
9. take brakes, draw something, draw another, go back to the other and color in, then so on.
10. use refferance if you need to, no matter how much you want to seem smart and cool, if you need to or your not sure, refferances are your best friend. (you can always lie and say you did it free hand lol)
11. don't draw somewhere crowded, in the car (train, whatever), on the floor, next to babies, dogs, evil siblings or next to food/drinks/etc

Hey bambii, welcome to Smeargle's Studio. I think the tips youve given are wounderfull help to someone who is learning to draw. I'd like to see newer artwork from you, and I hope you improve in your own drawings ^_^
