This outrageous Dragonite set is sure to leave disaster in its wake! Dragonite is a very potent setup sweeper, using Multiscale to nearly guarantee a Dragon Dance if Stealth Rock isn't set up. A boosted Devastating Drake is enough to OHKO physical walls like Landorus-T, Toxapex, and Alomomola. Earthquake takes out Steel-types like Heatran and Iron Crown and quite a few Fairy-types like Tapu Koko, Mega Diancie, and Mega Mawile. Steel-types that can shrug off Earthquake like Corviknight, Mega Scizor, and Ferrothorn aren't safe either, as they are slammed by Fire Punch. Dragonite is mainly used on hyper offensive teams; it appreciates dedicated leads like Taunt Landorus-T and Mega Diancie keeping Stealth Rock from going up to help keep Multiscale intact. Other setup sweepers like Volcarona, Raging Bolt, and Ogerpon-W are paired with Dragonite, the latter two helping to overwhelm their shared checks like Mega Tyranitar and Ferrothorn.

This Outrageous Dragonite set is sure to leave disaster in its wake! Dragonite is a very potent setup sweeper, using Multiscale to nearly guarantee a Dragon Dance if Stealth Rock isn’t set up gives more clarification to the “nearly” part. A boosted Z-Outrage is enough to OHKO physical walls like Gliscor Landorus-T a lot of landos are running taunt so you just dd again freely and then you drag z their likely only pivot against dnite, at least for the offensive teams taunt lando is found on, Toxapex, and Alomomola. Earthquake takes out Steel-types like Heatran and Iron Crown, and quite a few Fairy-types like Tapu Koko, Mega Diancie, and Mega Mawile. [Airborne Steel-types like Corviknight, and Skarmory, skarm comes in as dnite dds and iron defenses next turn, then roosts and the process repeats and Celesteela celes isn’t too relevant in this tier aren't safe from Dragonite either! Fire Punch lets Dragonite strike them down, while also hitting Steel-types that can shrug off Earthquake like Mega Scizor, Kartana, kart does nothing back, not even knock does anything and sstrike is exploitable + idt it kos and Ferrothorn.] Ngl these 2 sentences in brackets can probably be combined somehow, something like “Steel types that take little to no damage from Earthquake, like Corviknight, Mega Scizor, and Ferrothorn aren’t safe either, as they are slammed by fire punch” Dragonite is mainly used on hyper offensive teams; it appreciates dedicated leads like Taunt Landorus-T and Glimmora Mega Diancie glimm is horrible in general and at keeping off rocks, Diancie is much better in both aspects keeping Stealth Rock from going up to keeping Multiscale intact. Other setup sweepers like Volcarona, Raging Bolt, and Urshifu-R Ogerpon-W sd shifu is only really on webs ho and not hazard ho usually, pon is a better fit imo are paired with Dragonite, overwhelming the opposition with a barrage of boosted attacks, this is more so about ho as a style than anything that really helps dnite in particular the ladder two helping to overwhelm their shared checks in Fairy-types like Clefable and Tapu Koko Mega Tyranitar and Ferrothorn. we changed shifu to pon so this fits better, Mtar is a stopgap against rbolt if that didn’t make sense

Finchinator here qc 1/1, seems like a lot but I just write too much in the comments to explain the changes lol

Steel-types that can shrug off Earthquake like Corviknight, Mega Scizor, and Ferrothorn aren't (replace the "aren't" in your text with mine; I replaced curly apostrophe with an ascii one) safe either, as they are slammed by Fire Punch.
