abilities: poison point ( theres a 30% chance a pokemon using a contact move on dragalge will be poisoned) / poison touch (all dragalges contact moves have a 30% chance to poison) / adaptability (this pokemons stab is 2x instead of 1.5x)

pros of dragalge/upsides:
its a very strong special attacker with its stab type attacks, and with the new terastalyze mechanic they can be boosted even further!
has great special bulk which paired with leftovers makes it saty on the field for quite a long time.
its defensive typing lets it switch into common threats like gengar and rain boosted water moves decently well.
alot of the time it will be able to do 40% to resists just because of how strong it is

cons of dragalge/shortcomings:
dragalge is completely stonewalled by tinkaton which is a common defensive pokemon in the tier
its non stab moves feel a bit underwhelming sometimes

potential tera types:
i think dragalges strongest tera type is dragon for the extra boost to your stab which makes its dragon type moves into complete nukes doing around around 60% to BLISSEY with draco meteor and a choice specs set, another option is poison which allows you to spam powerful sludge bombs. on a choice specs set you can run tera ground so tinkaton is less of an issue for you aswell

this set is my favourite set for dragalge being an all out attacking set with tera dragon and leftovers. like ive mentioned before tera dragon makes your draco meteors do absurd things and dragon pulse super strong aswell. i went for leftovers because i think sacrificing some of the power of specs is worth it for the extra ability to stay on the field and take hits. i went for max spatck modest , enough speed evs for base 60s like sylveon and the rest into hp for better general bulk. i gave it focus blast so bisharp is less of an issue for you but substitute could be swapped for that if you paired it with magnezone to trap those pesky steel types.

EVs: 124 HP / 252 SpA / 132 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Tera Blast
- Sludge Bomb

this set has tera blast so tinkaton is less of an issue for you, and it can spam even stronger moves boosted with choice specs in exchange for less longevity

I'd mention Ground tera + Tera Blast over Dragon Pulse on the specs set, cause otherwise tink comes in for free and you're relying on the shaky Focus Blast which doesn't even 2HKO it with max HP whereas Ground Tera Blast is a clean OHKO

When you tera, you still keep your original STAB bonuses, so unless you have actual confirmation otherwise, Adaptability should still apply to the original 2 STABS after using it.
 
I really like using Dragalge and it's underutilized. It is the best Toxic Spikes user in tier and hits like a nuke. Once the steel types are eliminated by Magnezone it will wreck shit up. Another thing it is has its good bulk and can check major threats such Gengar and Barraskewda. The amount of TInkaton around does hurt its viability a bit, but it will definitely prove its worth. People are sleeping on this pokemon.
