Choice Specs Dragalge is a devastating breaker in NU, and it has become incredibly more threatening with Bronzong's recent departure. Dragalge's STAB moves have a great amount of power thanks to Adaptability. Draco Meteor does a hefty amount of damage to most switch-ins, while Focus Blast can pick off Steel-types on the switch like Copperajah, Galarian Stunfisk, and Togedemaru. Flip Turn keeps momentum and works great alongside other pivots. Dragalge can also run Scald to burn Pokemon like Escavalier and hit Galarian Stunfisk without fear of missing. If Steel-types are not as much of a worry, Dragon Pulse is an alternative, safe STAB option that avoid Draco Meteor drops. Dragalge fits best on bulky offense and balance structures that can get it in safely, making Passimian, Togedemaru, and Xatu nice partners. Rotom-C and Tsareena lure Pokemon like Sylveon and Vileplume in for Dragalge to fire off an attack. Wish passers such as Sylveon and Vaporeon can make it easier to utilize Dragalge's natural bulk against foes like Passimian and Rotom-C as well.

Dragalge's STAB moves have a great amount of power thanks to Adaptability-- they are especially scary given how a majority of the Steel-types in NU lack recovery they kinda all do unless you're counting leftovers, in which case they all have recovery. Focus Blast is able to hit resists like Copperajah, Galarian Stunfisk and Togedemaru. just make these two sentences into one imo; you can talk about draco chunking them hard and focus blast being useful to potentially just catch them on the switch Flip Turn keeps momentum and works great alongside other pivots. Scald can burn Pokemon like Escavalier and can hit Galarian Stunfisk without fear of missing. Dragon Pulse is an alternative safe STAB to avoid Draco Meteor drops.
