Occa Berry allows Scizor to flip the script on revenge killers like Celebi and Magnezone not celebi its mainly Jirachi that has been holding this set back for years, needs to be mentioned and highlighted magnezone is like ok but its rly jirachi that makes it worth using that attempt to take it out with Fire-type coverage, tanking the super effective hit and hitting back hard with the appropriate attack. Scizor benefits greatly from Stealth Rock support from suicide leads like Metagross, Bronzong, and Azelf, importantly breaking Skarmory's Sturdy (sturdy is useless in DPP) and chipping Zapdos. Other sweepers like Dragon Dance Gyarados, Dragon Dance Tyranitar, and offensive Calm Mind Suicune appreciate Scizor weakening or outright KOing defensive foes like Skarmory and Zapdos while also breaking teams open for an eventual Scizor sweep.
