Choice Specs Dialga's time-warping power makes it a very difficult Pokemon to switch into. Dialga offers teams more immediate power and stronger coverage options over its main competition in offensive Eternatus. Fire Blast hits Steel-types such as Necrozma-DM and Ferrothorn super effectively. Thunder is a strong, albeit inaccurate, option against Flying-types that also beats Kyogre. Power Gem is a reliable option to OHKO even specially defensive Ho-Oh variants, but Flash Cannon can instead deal with Xerneas expecting to freely switch into Draco Meteor. Dialga is completely stopped by Blissey, which makes physical attackers such as Marshadow great teammates. Defensive Zygarde-C pairs well with Dialga lacking Power Gem, as it compensates for Dialga's shaky matchup against Ho-Oh. Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Calyrex-S and Geomancy Xerneas can take advantage of Dialga weakening their checks, such as Ho-Oh and Necrozma-DM, respectively.

Dialga is completely stopped by Blissey, which makes physical attackers such as Marshadow great teammates. Defensive Zygarde-C pairs well with Dialga lacking Power Gem, as it compensates for Dialga's worse shaky matchup against Ho-Oh. Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Calyrex-S and Geomancy Xerneas can take advantage of Dialga's ability to wallbreak can you make this more specific? like "...take advantage of Dialga weakening shared checks like X and Y"?.
