Dialga or Palkia?

Which would be more useful in uber battling?

i am trying to decide whether to buy diamond or pearl, as i dont think it would be very easy getting hold of the other version exclusive.
 
Palkia is slower but has more SpATK/SpDef and is weak to only Dragon Type.
Dialga can learn moves super effective against Palkia and is faster, whereas Palkia cannot learn moves super effective against Dialga. Weak to Ground and Fighting

err... Palkia's faster (100 base speed) than Dialga (90 Spd)

and they have the same SpAtk (150)

Also forgot to mention Palkia has less SpDef than Dialga, not more.
 
This is a bad thread with lots of misconception and such.

Dialga is made to be some sort of defensive monster with a buttload of resistances, though hampered by being weak to Earthquake and Fighting and whatnot. Palkia is one of the most threatening Choice Specs sweepers in the game and has a much better signature move.

Just read both of their analyses when they're there on the DP Analyses forum.
