[SET COMMENTS]
Gholdengo uses its great typing and decent bulk to switch into Pokemon such as Tapu Lele, Hawlucha, most Mega Medicham, most Iron Valiant, and Zamazenta. Gholdengo's typing and unique ability in Good as Gold make it the premier stopgap to entry hazard removal and a good asset for entry hazard-stacking teams. Gholdengo can switch in on Defoggers like Rotom-W and Tornadus-T—the tier's top Defogger—and can switch in on status moves like Leech Seed from Ferrothorn and Toxic from Clodsire after Gholdengo Terastallizes. A STAB combination of Ghost / Steel hits many targets neutrally, with Shadow Ball being incredibly spammable and Make It Rain hitting Ghost-resistant Pokemon like Garganacl, Tyranitar, and Weavile; the former two are otherwise able to switch in freely. Tera Fairy lets Gholdengo switch out of otherwise crippling Pursuit, and Water lets it stay in on four attacks Kingambit and begin setting up. The removal of a Ground weakness also allows it to take advantage of Heatran, Ting-Lu, and Clodsire. 128 Special Defense EVs let Gholdengo survive two Heat Waves from offensive Tornadus-T from maximum HP, while the Special Attack allows it to OHKO bulky Tornadus-T with Make It Rain after a Nasty Plot; the remaining are put in Defense to take hits from the likes of Kingambit and Mega Tyranitar much better after Terastallizing. Entry hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Clodsire, Gastrodon, and Mega Diancie appreciate their hazards staying up for as long as possible. Pokemon like Mega Lopunny appreciate Gholdengo beating common revenge killers in Choice Scarf Tapu Lele and Zamazenta. Rotom-W is notable in that it checks Pokemon like Mega Swampert, Heatran, and Victini, and it appreciates Gholdengo providing entry hazard control. Gholdengo struggles against Kingambit, which it lets in for free and struggles to switch out of due to Pursuit. Kingambit is punished by Fighting-type teammates such as Urshifu-R, Zamazenta, Iron Valiant, and Mega Lopunny. Gholdengo also struggles against Mega Lopunny, which can switch in on stray Shadow Balls and bypass its Fighting immunity with Scrappy. Gholdengo also struggles against Clodsire and opposing Ghost-types, such as Dragapult and opposing Gholdengo. These can be checked by Pursuit users such as Weavile, Kingambit, and Mega Tyranitar.

Gholdengo is a defensive mon that uses its great typing and decent bulk to switch into mons such as Tapu Lele, Hawlucha, most Mega Medicham, most Iron Valiant, and Zamazenta. In addition, Gholdengo's typing and its typing is good but isnt relevant in why it blocks removal unique ability, Good as Gold, makes it the premier stopgap to hazard removal in the tier. It's able to switch into many of the tier's hazard removal options; such as Corviknight
B-:Corviknight: Corviknight
, Rotom-Wash, and notably Tornadus-Therian, the tier's top defogger, making it incredibly potent for hazard stacking. Defog isn't the only thing Good as Gold makes you immune to however, you become immune to every status move in the game. This allows Gholdengo to avoid pesky status like Leech Seed from Ferrothorn and Toxic from Clodsire post-Tera. It's no passive wall either; with access to Nasty Plot and a hefty 133 Special Attack, it can easily set up to incredibly threatening levels with the free turns afforded by its bulk. fluff After setting up on a defogger or one of the defensive mons in the tier like Blissey/Chansey, Ferrothorn, and Toxapex that it switches into with ease, Gholdengo can use one of its dual stab combo of Shadow Ball or Make It Rain to dish out heavy damage. fluff part 2 rmb this is a analysis not a encylopedia Despite not running coverage moves, Gholdengo's inherent STABs allows it to hit many targets neutrally and even score super effective hits against would-be checks like Tyranitar. It also allows Gholdengo to hit ghost resists like Garganacl and Weavile that would otherwise be able to switch in freely to take advantage of Gholdengo. this is how u shld be talking abt its stbs ueah, but i think needs some rewording here bc it has a lot of bloat, tar is also a ghost resist but it isnt grouped with the other 2 for example, also talk abt how sball is very spammable Gholdengo's Terastal typing of choice is Ghost, which it uses to shed its Steel typing to avoid eating super effective hits from Great Tusk and Mega Lopunny to KO them in return. It chooses Ghost specifically as it allows Gholdengo to not only boost its Shadow Ball to a ludicrous level, but continue blocking Rapid Spin as well. An additional benefit is it allowed Gholdengo to beat otherwise threatening mons like Garganacl and Clodsire by avoiding their boosted Salt Cure and super effective Earthquake respectively. change to the good ones (water is broken) In regards to the specific EVs on the set, the SpD allows you to survive 2 max invested SpA Heat Waves from Tornadus-Therian from max HP, while the SpA allows you to OHKO bulky Tornadus-Therian with Make It Rain after a Nasty Plot, with the remaining in Defense in order to take hits from the like of Kingambit and Mega Tyranitar much better after Terastallizing. Teamates that enjoy Gholdengo's antics are any hazard setters that appreciate their hazards staying up for as long as possible who?, as well as mons like Mega Lopunny, Who enjoy it's ability to wall and set up on the common speed control in the tier this mon certainly does not wall dragapult, no sir, and mons like Rotom-Wash, who appreciate the good type-matchup coverage and hazard control support afforded by Gholdengo's presence. Despite its positives, Gholdengo isn't flawless. It has a few bad matchups. The most threatening is Kingambit, whom it lets in for free and struggles to switch out of due to Pursuit. It also struggles against Mega Lopunny, a Normal type who can switch in on stray Shadow Balls, as its Ghost-type immunities are nullified by Lopunny's ability Scrappy; rendering Gholdengo vulnerable to it's high powered STAB Close Combats. im sure u can broaden this up, not just gambit and mega lop, try to have at least 2 examples for stuff unless it is very specific Fortunately, these matchups can be solved relatively easily, as Skarmory is not only a great defensive partner who counters both of these offensive threats with ease, but sets up spikes in return, which Gholdengo can prevent from being removed during the game.
C
:skarmory: Skarmory please try to include more relevant examples, im sure theres tons of amazing teammate options that dont involve a c tier passive pokemon and stacking defensive steels

Another teamate Gholdengo tends to appreciate is Gastrodon, as it can shrug off any Fire attacks that may come Gholdengo's way while setting up Stealth Rocks that enable Gholdengo's hazard removal blocking. again im p sure u can group this up w stuff, fire resists, ground resists etc

its Pokemon, NOT mons btw :ANRGY: overall this was ok, filled with a flop ton of fluff but not that bad, altho i will need to check it again after you implement these since there were a ton of changes. lmk when implemented. i might have missed some fluff bc im tired but im sure u know what should t be on here already, keep it relatively straight to the point, writer creativity is great but to an extent

I think I got every instance of mon and changed it, as well as trimming some of the fat of the writing. If you see anything else, please let me know!

Fairy is great as it allows you to switch out of otherwise crippling pursuit, and Water lets you stay in on 4 attack Kingambit and begin setting up. In regards to the specific EVs on the set, the SpD allows you to survive 2 max invested SpA Heat Waves from Tornadus-Therian from max HP, while the SpA allows you to OHKO bulky Tornadus-Therian with Make It Rain after a Nasty Plot, with the remaining in defense to be able to take hits from the likes of Kingambit and Mega Tyranitar much better after Tera. It's also defensively answered by Ting-Lu and Clodsire, who can easily switch into Gholdengo and threaten it out with super effective Earthquakes pre-Tera. Gholdengo typically forces in dark types, which can be easily taken advantage of by fighting type teamates such as Mega Lopunny, Urshifu, and Zamazenta. It also forces in special walls like Clodsire and threatens to get revenged by opposing ghosts, meaning it pairs well with Pursuit trappers like Weavile, Kingambit, and Mega Tyranitar.

Implemented comma I think

These teammates are instrumental to Gholdengo winning, but a lot of these checks can be beaten after a tera to begin with.

nuke this

These switch-ins are punished by Fighting-type teamates such as Urshifu and Mega Lopunny.

combine this part with the zama part since they r all fighting types and do the same thing in this context, also add val bc its broke
