[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its ability and bulk, Moltres finds itself on Flying-type teams as a deterrent to threatening physical attackers such as Chien-Pao, Kingambit, and Gallade. Will-O-Wisp is used to guarantee a burn on prominent attackers such as Azumarill and Iron Hands while also negating Leftovers and Black Sludge recovery from passive Pokemon such as Ting-Lu and Toxapex without having to rely on Pressure. U-turn allows Moltres to pivot out of unfavorable situations and keep itself safe from harm. The given Speed EVs allow Moltres to outspeed Jolly Kingambit and the rare Jolly Azumarill to neutralize their setup with Will-O-Wisp while also outpacing defensive Archaludon.

Corviknight forms a great defensive core with Moltres, as they both cover each other's threats well. Corviknight is able to switch into threats such as Choice Band Excadrill and Glimmora for Moltres, while Moltres is able to cover Corviknight by switching into Ogerpon-H and Ninetales. Mandibuzz also makes for another great defensive addition for a defensive trio, as it shields Moltres from incoming Ghost-, Psychic-, and Dark-type attacks from Dragapult, Espathra, and Hydreigon while also threatening various physical attackers with Foul Play. Landorus-T is able to handle Fire-type Pokemon that wall and take advantage of Moltres, such as Heatran and unboosted Gouging Fire, while also being a deterrent to Electric-types such as Raging Bolt and Sandy Shocks. Additionally, Landorus-T and the aforementioned defensive trio all have access to U-turn, allowing Flying-type teams and Moltres in particular to retain momentum throughout a battle. In return, Moltres is able to soak up Ice-type attacks from Chien-Pao and Great Tusk. Choice Scarf Enamorus is also able to help Moltres deal with Heatran while also sweeping Dragon-, Steel-, and Fire-type teams with the appropriate coverage and providing Healing Wish support for Moltres should it need the immediate recovery. In return, Moltres can cover incoming Ice-type attacks from the aforementioned Chien-Pao and Great Tusk, as well as Steel-type attacks from Choice Scarf Roaring Moon and Scizor, both of which can threaten Enamorus's sweeping power. Dragonite is a great potential wincon with access to Dragon Dance and a colorful movepool, and it greatly appreciates Moltres wearing down troublesome physical walls such as Toxapex, Galarian Weezing, and Quagsire with Will-O-Wisp.

Brave Bird can be used over Flamethrower prevent Moltres from being forced out by Calm Mind users such as Spectrier. However, Flamethrower is generally the more consistent move, as Brave Bird is only called for in niche scenarios. Additionally, Scorching Sands is an option over Flamethrower, as it prevents Moltres from being walled by the likes of Heatran and Gouging Fire. However, this comes at the cost of Moltres being forced out by any Pokemon with a Ground immunity or resistance.

Will-O-Wisp is used to guarantee a burn on prominent attackers such as Azumarill and Iron Hands, while also negating Leftovers or Black Sludge recovery from passive Pokemon such as Ting-Lu and Toxapex without having to rely on its ability. Brave Bird can be used over Flamethrower in order to allow Moltres to not be forced out by Calm Mind users such as Spectrier. However, Flamethrower is generally the more consistent move as Brave Bird is only called for in niche scenarios, while also dealing recoil damage to Moltres (Roost alleviates this tho?). Additionally, Scorching Sands is also an option over Flamethrower, as it allows Moltres to no longer be walled by the likes of Heatran and Gouging Fire. However, this comes at the cost of being forced out by any Pokemon with a Ground-type immunity or resistance.

Thanks to its ability and bulk, Moltres finds itself on Flying-type (not incorrect but ffr you can just use "Flying teams" for this, it's a mono-specific thing) teams as a deterrent to threatening physical attackers such as Chien-Pao, Kingambit, and Gallade. Will-O-Wisp is used to guarantee a burn on prominent attackers such as Azumarill and Iron Hands (RC) while also negating Leftovers or and Black Sludge recovery from passive Pokemon such as Ting-Lu and Toxapex without having to rely on its ability Pressure (clarity + subject confusion). U-turn allows Moltres to pivot out of unfavorable situations and keep it itself safe from harm. The given speed Speed EVs allow Moltres to outspeed Jolly Kingambit and the rare Jolly Azumarill in order to neutralize their setup with Will-O-Wisp (RC) while also outpacing defensive Archaludon.

Corviknight forms a great defensive core with Moltres, (AC) as they both cover each other's (AA) threats well. Corviknight is able to switch into threats such as Choice Band Excadrill and Glimmora for Moltres, while Moltres is able to cover Corviknight by switching into Ogerpon-H and Ninetales. Mandibuzz also makes for another great defensive addition for a defensive trio, (AC) as it shields Moltres from incoming Ghost-, Psychic-, and Dark-type attacks from Dragapult, Espathra, and Hydreigon (RC) while also threatening various physical attackers with Foul Play. Landorus-T is able to handle Fire-type Pokemon that wall and take advantage of Moltres (moved for clarity) and take advantage of it, such as Heatran and unboosted Gouging Fire, while also being a deterrent to Electric-types such as Raging Bolt and Sandy Shocks. Additionally, Landorus-T in tandem with and the aforementioned defensive trio (RC) all have access to U-turn, allowing Flying-type teams and Moltres in particular to retain momentum throughout a battle. In return, Moltres is able to soak up Ice-type attacks from Chien-Pao and Great Tusk.
