[SET COMMENTS]
Iron Leaves is a dangerous wallbreaker and setup sweeper thanks to Booster Energy, Swords Dance, and its ability to threaten common defensive Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Tyranitar, and Gastrodon. With Booster Energy, Iron Leaves is able to outspeed and threaten common Speed control options such as Zeraora, Iron Boulder, and Greninja. However, Iron Leaves's relative frailty combined with its terrible defensive typing renders it prone to being revenge killed by threats such as Shadow Sneak Aegislash and Bullet Punch Scizor as well as common Choice Scarf users such as Mienshao and Greninja. Wild Charge allows Iron Leaves to threaten Celesteela and Skarmory after a Swords Dance. Close Combat is an option to deal with Magnezone and Hydreigon while dealing as much damage to Scizor as possible. Lastly, Throat Chop can be used to hit Aegislash and Latias. The given EV spread ensures that Booster Energy provides Iron Leaves with a Speed boost. Iron Leaves fits on hyper offense teams as an early-game wallbreaker, though it can also fit as a sweeper once checks such as Skarmory and Aegislash are removed. One of the best qualities of Iron Leaves is its ability to threaten Water- and Ground-types, such as Rotom-W, Slowking, and Hippowdon, that check hyper offense staples such as Iron Moth, Victini, and Celesteela. Depending on its coverage, Iron Leaves can severely chip threats such as Celesteela and Mega Latias and thus pave the way for these teammates to sweep late-game. In return, Iron Moth and Victini threaten the Steel types that check Iron Leaves such as Celesteela, Skarmory, and Scizor while Celesteela easily sets up on them. Greninja and Keldeo appreciate Iron Leaves dealing with Rotom-W and Mega Venusaur, and they, in return, deal with threats such as Bisharp and Skeledirge. Alakazam can be considered due to its ability to threaten Mega Latias and Skarmory for Iron Leaves; however, Alakazam tends to make teams more vulnerable to Celesteela due to relying on Focus Blast to break past it. Aegislash greatly benefits from Iron Leaves's wallbreaking abilities and fits well on hyper offense teams as a spinblocker and wincon, making it an excellent teammate. Aegislash also provides useful secondary Speed control with Shadow Sneak, allowing it to revenge kill snowballing threats such as Iron Moth and Blacephalon. In return, Iron Leaves threatens Rotom-W, Tyranitar, and Hippowdon. Iron Boulder and Azumarill can pair well with Iron Leaves to overwhelm physical walls. Iron Boulder threatens Skeledirge and can overwhelm Hydrapple, Celesteela, and Skarmory with Iron Leaves, while Azumarill can help weaken Skarmory and Scizor. Suicide leads such as Excadrill, Kleavor, and Mew make excellent teammates, as their entry hazard support allows Iron Leaves to reach important damage thresholds such as OHKOing defensive Celesteela at +2 with Wild Charge. Sticky Web Ribombee is another lead that fits well as a teammate, as Sticky Web support allows Iron Leaves to outspeed and threaten Choice Scarf users such as Mienshao and Greninja and Excadrill under sand.
