Ceaseless Edge grants it the opportunity to get up entry hazards against Hatterene, an otherwise annoying matchup for Dark teams. Swords Dance guarantees a 2HKO on Pokemon like Archaludon with Sacred Sword and the aforementioned Hatterene with Ceaseless Edge. Sucker Punch lets it hit faster targets such as Dragapult and Flutter Mane. Hisuian Samurott can struggle breaking through foes such as Primarina and Azumarill; therefore, it appreciates Meowscarda as a partner to threaten them with Flower Trick. In return, Hisuian Samurott can muscle through Archaludon and Heatran for Meowscarada. Hisuian Samurott also has trouble versus faster Electric-types like Sandy Shocks and Raging Bolt, so it appreciates Ting-Lu as a partner to check these foes and form a hazard-stacking core with it.

[no aqua cutter sentence?] It serves an important role being able to get up hazards against Hatterene with Ceaseless Edge, an otherwise annoying matchup for Dark-type teams. [since its slash and not like the main option i would like reword this and be like when slotted for ceaseless...] Swords Dance enables Hisuian Samurott to grant it a guaranteed 2HKO on Pokemon like Archaludon at +2 and a guaranteed 2HKO on the aforementioned Hatterene with Ceaseless Edge. [how i read it, its telling me that +2 CE is 2hkoing both arch and hatterene which its only for hat, i would add in Sacred Sword for the former.] Sucker Punch lets it hit faster targets such as Dragapult and Flutter mane.
