[SET COMMENTS]
Hisuian Lilligant is a potent setup sweeper thanks to it outspeeding most prominent Choice Scarf users like Galarian Zapdos, Sandy Shocks, and Hydreigon after one boost, ablilty in Hustle, and access to Victory Dance. Leaf Blade 2HKOes Clefable, Mew, and Mega Sableye at +1. Close Combat helps deal with the tier's numerous Dark- and Steel-types, OHKOing Mega Tyranitar, Excadrill, and Iron Treads. it also OHKOes Celesteela, Scizor, and bulky Cinderace at +1, as well as 2HKOing Celesteela, Scizor, and Assault Vest Tangrowth. Encore can lock foes into recovery and setup moves, such as Skarmory with Iron Defense and Roost, forcing them out and giving Hisuian Lilligant an opportunity to set up. Grassium Z provides Hisuian Lilligant with a way to break through most Pokemon in the tier, helping against Clefable, Iron Hands, and Mega Sableye, and it also lets Hisuian Lilligant bypass Hustle lowering its accuracy, while Focus Sash ensures that it can set up at least once. Hisuian Lilligant can pair well with entry hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Mew, and Skarmory, which can help it to guarantee an OHKO on foes such as Galarian Moltres and offensive Scizor with Stealth Rock chip. In return, Hisuian Lilligant can threaten common hazard removers like Tapu Fini, Iron Treads, and Excadrill, as well as deal with their checks like Gastrodon for Ting-Lu and Hippowdon and Sandy Shocks for Skarmory. Pivots such as Meowscarada, Sandy Shocks, and Galarian Zapdos can be great partners for Hisuian Lilligant, bringing it in on defensive Pokemon like Hippowdon and Chansey, providing it with a chance to wallbreak or set up. Hisuian Lilligant can struggle to break through Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Buzzwole, and Amoonguss, making teammates like Cinderace and Victini appreciated. On offensive teams, Hisuian Lilligant can pair well with Iron Moth, Ceruledge, and Cinderace, thanks to its ability to threaten Water- and Ground-types. In return, they can help threaten Pokemon like Mega Venusaur.
