Damn Game Freak for not giving Registeel Gyro Ball :(

Why doesn't it? It's round, slow, steel, and a lot more ball-like than the likes of Steelix and Bronzong, who learn it. It would make it so much more useable. Anyway, RMT.

infernape.png

Infernape @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Rash
Ability: Blaze
EV's: 252Sp.Atk, 232Spe, 24Atk
~ Overheat
~ Hidden Power [Electric]
~ Grass Knot
~ Close Combat

This has always worked better for me than the standard Mixape. EV's make sure it beats Adamant ScarfChomp. Hp Electric for Gyarados.

gyarados.png

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 212Hp, 176Def, 122Sp.Def
~ Taunt
~ Thunder Wave
~ Waterfall
~ Avalanche

Just awesome. T-Wave to slow stuff down for Maggy.

mismagius.png

Mismagius @ Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 236Spe, 166Sp.Atk, 108Hp
~ Substitute
~ Shadow Ball
~ Hidden Power Fighting
~ Calm Mind

Gotta love it :) One of the few special sweepers that will actually beat Blissey. EV's beat +Spe Garchomp by one point, taking into account the 30 IV in speed required for Hp Fighting. 108 Hp is nice for Leftovers, with the rest in Sp.Atk.

Considering Taunt over Sub, as I hate being phazed.

leafeon.png

Leafeon @ Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Leaf Guard
EV's: 252Hp, 176Def, 82Sp.Def
~ Wish
~ Protect
~ Leaf Blade
~ Baton Pass

Beats T-Bolt Boah, Gyarados, Swampert if they lack Ice Beam, and quite a lot of other stuff too. Also chucks Wishes around, which is always useful.

drapion.png

Drapion @ Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: Sniper
EV's: 252Hp, 252Def, 6Hp
~ Knock Off
~ Whirlwind
~ Night Slash
~ Brick Break

Gets rid of Toxic Spikes, knocks stuff off, and rapes stuff with Night Slash's high crit rate and Sniper. BB for coverage.

registeel.png

Registeel @ Leftovers
Nature: Careful
Ability: Clear Body
EV's: 252Hp, 160Sp.Def, 98Def
~ Rest
~ Sleep Talk
~ Seismic Toss
~ Ice Punch

Status taker. Generally awesome. Counters a lot of stuff too.

Going through my threat list, the biggest problem would appear to be Metagross. Anything else?

Replace avalanche and thunderwave with ice fang and dragon dance on Gyrados. If you want paralysis support, just put it on Registeel.

Registeel doesn't have the moveslots :( I'm not running the standard DDGyara, I'm running a much more defensive one, which I personally prefer. It catches people off guard.

Not sure :( STalkless Rest is risky, and I'm relying on it for quite a lot of countering atm. TBH, Curse-registeel is an inferior Curselax D':

Why is Leafeon Relaxed? Ice Fang > Avalanche on Gyara. It does not want to move last even with a defensive spread. Put more attack and less speed if Ape has a Scarf.

Slow Wish-pass. Allows Leafeon to take the hit before the pass.

And Gyara doesn't care less about going first or last. For the most part, things that Gyara will be Avalanching will be faster than it. Most notably Garchomp, which Avalanche OHKO's and Ice Fang doesn't.

Ape is EV'd to beat ScarfChomp.

The Gyarados is fine, it is a superior Swampert when you look at the stats. Sounds fun with Waterfall+paralysis, might try that sometime.

Nice team. Don't use Curse on Registeel, not only an inferior Snorlax, but Swampert as well.

Thanks :) Gyarados tends to catch everyone off guard, as they all expect DD.

Any ideas on how to fix the Metagross problem? :s

This might just be a personal preference thing, but Naive Infernape takes Lucario Extremespeeds a whole lot better, which bypass your Choice Scarf.

Leafeon should be Impish rather than Relaxed - there's no harm in lowering your Special Attack when you're not using it. Your Speed, on the other hand, could prove to be more vital in many situations.

Your team seems to be focused a lot on on physical defending - you don't really have much that can take Special attacks aside from Gyarados, and even then, it's somewhat shaky at doing so. Something like Gengar could potentially cripple this team.

Mmkay, I'll try a Rash Infernape :)

Leafeon's speed is as slow as possible so as to ensure he takes the hit before Wish-passing to something else, that may be unable to do so itself without being fainted.

What about Registeel? :p He's running about 400Sp.Def, though he won't like Focus Blasts :( Admittedly, I'm weak to any Gengar set that runs Focus Blast and no choice item, but I can't really sort that without changing Pokes, and most Gengar are choiced anyway.

Infernape is EV'd to beat ScarfChomp. Might run less speed, but atm the attack seems less important.
