Crobat + Whirlwind + Choice Scarf + Spikes?

Would it be a viable tactic to Lay down Spikes and Stealth Rock, then get a Crobat (with all speed EVs, positive nature, and Scarf to make it faster that everything) and then keep on using Whirlwind to pile on the switching damage? Could even be an Aerodactyl if I start a Sandstorm to add to the damage.

Could this work at all? Might have a problem with go first moves like Ice Shard, but what you think?

Whirlwind goes last, regardless of speed.

Bugger that idea then. I'm guessing that Roar is the same? Wouldn't work as Ghost would wall that move...

Roar isn't walled by Ghosts; only Normal moves that do damage.

However, if you can trick you're opponent into sleeping Crobat, then use sleep talk, it would make whirlwind go first iirc.

Assist, however, always goes first, regardless of the move chosen. Let's say you have this Hypnosis Persian...

If you want to try that tactic then use Sleep Talk/Rest/Whirlwind/Filler

Sleep Talk whirlwind DOES still go first and work.
