Hi everyone! This is my second analysis. Here's everyone's favorite 4 winged bat, Crobat.

Current status: Awaiting QC approval (0/3 approvals) (1/3 rejections)

[SET]
Name: Utility Bat
Move 1: Roost
Move 2: Super Fang/Whirlwind
Move 3: Brave Bird
Move 4: Taunt
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 248 HP / 116 Atk / 144 Spe

Why this set deserves to be on-site:
-
Crobat has tons of support options, and this sets takes advantage of them.
-Crobat also has access to Whirlwind + Super Fang, which helps slice off half of many opponents' HP, as well as much more with Stealth Rock or (Toxic) Spikes.
-130 base speed stat
-Great typing aside from its SR weakness

Additional comments:
-
Hypnosis could be used in the last slot, but it isn't listed because its illegal with Brave Bird
-If you decide to use Hypnosis, go with a spread of 156 HP / 100 SpA / 252 Spe with a Timid nature and use Air Slash in the slot 3.

Teammates:
-Like most anything, Crobat likes Spikers such as Forretress or Froslass leads, however if you use Froslass you will have 2 (Stealth) Rock weaknesses.
-Something to Rapid Spin away Stealth Rock will be Crobat's best friend. Once again, Forretress is the preferred opton here because Starmie and Tentacruel are weak to Electric like Crobat is.
-A ground type or a pokemon that have a strong Earthquake that can OHKO the below counter are also enjoyable.

Counters:
-
Tyranitar, as it resists Brave Bird/Air Slash and can KO with Stone Edge before Crobat gets the change to Whirlwind
-Empoleon similarly resists Brave Bird, and can KO with Ice Beam.
-Magnezone can KO with Thunderbolt.
-Pretty much anything that resists Brave Bird and can 1HKO with Ice Beam/Stone Edge/Thunderbolt

It seems like there should be another spread in other options, as the only important thing you can do with this spread is tie Jolteon. I haven't done any Calcs but seems something like Adamant 156 HP / 100 Atk / 252 Spe or something for more power, or something Bulkier.

I would probably make it so you outspeed positive base 115's, max HP, and stick the rest in Atk or even it's defenses. Also, why the hell is Roost not listed? It's a way better option than Toxic and Haze.

This is essentially exactly the same as the one on-site, except with Whirlwind and maybe Toxic or Haze, neither of which is especially appealing to me. Just putting Toxic, Haze, and Whirlwind in OC is probably the best way to go about it.

Utility + SR - Roost = bad things. I agree with SDS. (Also, there's no reason not to step down your Speed quite a bit, nothing between scarftar and max is worth outrunning anyway)

Fourth slash? Roost is obligatory on a utility set, and then once you add that in, it might as well be the "good" set on-site.

OC mention for Whirlwind, nothing more.

QC REJECTED (1/3)

If I was you, I would make the set something more along the lines of:

Crobat @ Leftovers
Inner Focus / Jolly
248 HP / 116 Atk / 144 Spe
- Brave Bird
- Taunt
- Roost
- Whirlwind / Super Fang

Outruns ScarfTar, since nothing else is worth outspeeding. 248 HP so you can switch into SR 4 times and live, the rest get chucked into into Atk for BB. This set is probably way more efficient than the one in the OP. It already got one rejection though, so I don't know if you can still salvage it.

Yeah, I was gonna say what SDS said. Basically WW and Haze could just go into AC on the main set on site o_o. Since its more or less the same set, just add in an alternate EV spread and those moves would be easier.

Okay, that sounds better.

252 speed outruns Scarfed Breloom and Metagross, for what it's worth. Again, at that point, you're better off running the set that I outlined in my Quality Control Documentation thread. Go to the main QC forum and check it out.

They're not really common enough to warrant max speed.

@ OP: You might want to mention what the spread does, and why it's optimal (try to find out some other stuff it can do besides what I told you. Also U-turn is definitely worth, at the very least, a mention.

Almost the same set can be found in this Quality Control thread. As you can imagine, there's no need to have an independent topic for it when it's already being commented on the one that I linked to at the beginning of this paragraph.
Don't be afraid to try again with another set in the future, though. Locking.
