SV OU CRITICAL HIT! Inteleon Snipe Shot - Peak 1701 elo

Hi Everyone,

Wanted to share a team that helped me reach 1700 for the first time. I didnt expect this team to go that far but its hella fun laddering up with it. With that lets get into the team.

Blaziken:
Blaziken @ Scope Lens
Ability: Speed Boost
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Close Combat
- Focus Energy
- Earthquake
- Overheat

Saw this being used on a channel and decided to try it out. Spamming overheat without fear of Spa drop is so satisfying. Overheat has chance to 2 hit KO dondozo. Close combat and earthquake for coverage.

Yanmega:
Yanmega @ Throat Spray
Ability: Speed Boost
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Protect
- Tera Blast
- Air Slash

Lead yanmega into samurott / darkrai / ting lu leads. Always protect to get speed boost and fire away. Protect is also good to stall out weather turns. Tera ground to cover heatran, gholdengo and gouging. Beware of teraing if there is rillaboom, as that could stop your sweep.

Mamoswine:
Mamoswine @ Never-Melt Ice
Ability: Thick Fat
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Trailblaze

Mamoswine is such an underrated glue mon. Ice and ground gives perfect coverage and trailblaze to outspeed mons such as cinderace and darkrai. Best check into raging bolt. Tera dragon defensively into mons such as ogerpon and rillaboom.

Maushold:
Maushold-Four @ Wide Lens
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Population Bomb
- Tidy Up
- Bite
- Encore

My favourite hazard removal. Able to sweep teams if given the chance. Tera ghost for zamazenta.

Gallade:
Gallade @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 8 HP / 252 Atk / 10 SpD / 240 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Psycho Cut
- Sacred Sword
- Night Slash
- Leaf Blade

Gallade with sharpness is a nuke, able to 1hit ko ogerpon and 3 hit ko walls such as skarm and corvi. I ran scarf for speed control. Tera steel for emergencies against roaring moon acrobatics and extremespeed dragonite.

Inteleon:
Inteleon @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 8 HP / 252 SpA / 248 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Snipe Shot
- U-turn
- Vacuum Wave

Since getting wrecked by snipe shot inteleon while laddering, i decided to give it a try. With scope lens, snipe shot has a 50% chance to crit, and can ohko threats such as darkrai. Vacuum wave deals surprisingly well into kinggambit. This is a bit of a casino mon. If you crit enough it can sweep teams, if not it still serves as a good wall breaker with its terrific speed tier.

This must be the wildest viable team I've ever seen and I LOVE IT.
Props for making it so far, must take A LOT of skill.
I think this just shows how many mons have untapped potential, I hope this opens everyone's eyes to future team possibilities :swole:

PS: just a warning, you might want to give more info on :maushold: to keep the post within the guidelines of 3 lines of info per mon :sphearical:

My favourite hazard removal. Able to sweep teams if given the chance. Tera ghost for zamazenta. Use bite when facing possible rocky helmets mon to scout, before you nuke yourself. I find this to be a good lead into ribombee, always bomb that mon turn 1, they will most likely stun spore or attack you.

Gallade:
Gallade @ Choice Scarf

Threat list:

This team isn't made to take any hits, so more often than not, tera is being used defensively, i find myself teraing mamoswine the most when facing weather teams and rillaboom.

Rillaboom
This mon is huge threat, especially if you have teraed yanmega, as you have no switch in, always save your dragon tera until you can remove it.

Walking wake/gouging fire
Huge threats in sun team, tera with mamoswine and eq, then revenge kill with ice shard. We will always trade a mon here so keep gallade at the back as a speed check.

Barraskewda
Again, we have no switch in, so tera with mamoswine and go for the kill. Sometimes barra will lead and you can lead with gallade. They may not expect the scarf and you can remove a huge threat turn 1.

Thanks for the suggestion! Have also added a threat list. Glad you liked the team!

This team is really fun not going to lie
A couple changes to make it (unfortunately) more standard but (fortunately) a little more effective

:Maushold: -> :Great Tusk: Booster speed tusk with tera ghost fulfills the hazard removal + sweeping potential + zama counter way better than Maus does, and bulk up with booster speed is a real threat. This is especially true with the wallbreaking potential of blaziken in the back.

:Gallade: -> :Samurott-Hisui: In terms of a physical attacker that can do some damage and has decent scarf potential Samurott is a little better than gallade. But the real reason for this switch is to get up a layer or two of spikes and then die so one of your nuts breakers can come in. In practice I found gallade never really did anything since it blanks into stuff like Gliscor so at least this way you get some progress going to set up the rest of the team.

:Blaziken::Yanmega::Mamoswine::Great Tusk::Samurott-Hisui::Inteleon: <- Click for paste
But by all means continue to just use your version lmao its awesome
