Swords Dance Ogerpon-W is an incredibly dangerous wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its ability to take advantage of defensive staples like Alomomola and Ting-Lu, the power boost from Wellspring Mask, and its good Speed tier. Swords Dance amps up Ogerpon-W's power to dangerous levels, most notably OHKOing standard Ferrothorn with Superpower and 2HKOing defensive Zapdos and Toxapex with Ivy Cudgel and Power Whip, respectively. Power Whip is a more threatening STAB option thanks to its high Base Power, but Horn Leech lets Ogerpon-W offset any Toxic damage from Toxapex and Alomomola, letting it set up on the pair. Superpower hits Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Archaludon, OHKOing them at +2. Alternatively, Encore lets Ogerpon-W gain setup opportunities against passive foes like Ferrothorn and Toxapex using status moves. With Tera Water, Ogerpon-W not only gets a huge boost to Ivy Cudgel's power, but also gains a Special Defense boost, which can help stave off revenge killing attempts from threats like Tornadus-T and Iron Valiant. Ogerpon-W can struggle with Grass-types like Kartana and Ferrothorn, especially if lacking Superpower, so teammates like Heatran and Tornadus-T are greatly appreciated. Heatran also sets Stealth Rock to help Ogerpon-W defeat its answers that lack recovery, like Raging Bolt and Archaludon if Ogerpon-W lacks Superpower, over a longer period of time if it cannot brute-force its way through them. Tornadus-T, meanwhile, can remove entry hazards to improve Ogerpon-W's longevity as well as remove crucial items like Leftovers from defensive stops like Toxapex and Raging Bolt. Its Nasty Plot set also appreciates Ogerpon-W's ability to take advantage of specially defensive walls like Ting-Lu and Chansey. Offensive teammates like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, Weavile, and Mega Tyranitar can deal with Dragon-types like the aforementioned Raging Bolt and Dragonite; Weavile and Mega Tyranitar in particular can Pursuit trap said Dragon-types, opening Ogerpon-W up to sweeping. Despite having a good Speed tier, Ogerpon-W is vulnerable to being revenge killed by faster threats like Iron Boulder and Mega Lopunny; as such, teammates that can switch into these threats, like Landorus-T and Gliscor, are highly appreciated. Additionally, teammates that offensively pressure these revenge killers, like Zamazenta and Great Tusk, are good choices to pair with Ogerpon-W.

Swords Dance Ogerpon-W is an incredibly dangerous wallbreaker and sweeper sometimes this thing just cleans entire teams that are unprepared for it (and even then it’s kinda just going to cleave through anything not pure offense) thanks to its ability to take advantage of defensive staples like Alomomola and Ting-Lu, the passive power boost from Wellspring Mask, and its good speed tier. Swords Dance amps up Ogerpon-W's power to dangerous levels, most notably OHKOing standard Ferrothorn with Superpower and 2HKOing Pecharunt defensive Zapdos is pecha really that notable of a mon? Sure it’s a cool calc but I wouldn’t say it’s too noteworthy and Toxapex with Ivy Cudgel and Power Whip. Ivy Cudgel is a very spammable STAB attack that can be boosted further by Tera Water. Do you really need to explain this? It seems pretty obvious to me and I’m pretty sure a newer player could still figure out that cudgel is supposed to do what you say here by just looking at Waterpon Power Whip is a more threatening STAB option thanks to its high Base Power, but Horn Leech lets Ogerpon-W offset any damage from Toxic from Toxapex and Alomomola, letting it set up on the pair and effortlessly run through teams. Superpower is essential coverage, as it hits Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Archaludon, incredibly hard OHKOing them after a Swords Dancd boost while also offering Ogerpon-W a way to force good damage onto Grass- and Dragon-types like Rillaboom and Kyurem this isn’t on you at all because it usually isn’t thought of but pwhip does literally 2 percent less than spower into Rilla and cudgel just 2hkos kyurem anyway Alternatively, Encore lets Ogerpon-W gain setup opportunities if opponents try to set up entry hazards or status it unless I’m missing something I don’t see where you would want to lock something like tera dragon mola or even twave mtias into these status conditions. Maybe mention how Waterpon uses encore to lock Pokémon into undesirable moves such as Mola using flip turn/wish or mtias using cm/roost. With Tera Water, Ogerpon-W not only gets a gigantic power boost but also provides it a special defense boost that helps it not be revenged killed by faster Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Tornadus-T I feel the spdef boost from Tera needs to be mentioned with it being a quite important part of Waterpon being so annoying to revenge kill with special attackers. This can be worded to your own liking by the way, this is just an outline for how u could do it Ogerpon-W can struggle with Grass-types like the aforementioned Rillaboom due to both of its STABs being resisted by the type, so teammates like Heatran and Tornadus-T are greatly appreciated. Heatran also sets Stealth Rock to help Ogerpon-W defeat its answers over a longer period of time if it cannot brute-force its way through them. Tornadus-T, meanwhile, can remove hazards to improve Ogerpon-W's longevity as well as remove crucial items like Leftovers from defensive stops like bulky Rillaboom and Gouging Fire. Its Nasty Plot set also appreciates Ogerpon-W's ability to take advantage of specially defensive walls like Ting-Lu and Chansey. Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Choice Specs Iron Valiant are also great partners to deal with pesky Dragon-types like Raging Bolt add like dnite or mtias because those also do ok into waterpon, further cementing these fairies’ usefulness as teammates that can take on Ogerpon-W's STAB combination. In return, they appreciate Ogerpon-W's propensity to tear holes through teams to support their wallbreaking as well as switch in on threaten Steel-types like Heatran and Ferrothorn. Despite bearing a good speed tier, Ogerpon-W can still be revenge killed by Pokemon like Mega Lopunny and Tornadus-T if it doesn’t use Terastilization, so Pokemon like Zamazenta and Weavile are good teammates to pressure these Pokemon. When playing against Waterpon one of the main ways you beat it is by outspeeding it, so it’s probably nice to mention Pokémon that help against the Pokemon that can potentially revenge it with a higher speed tier. You can also put this in your own words but as with the section on the spdef boost of Tera water these 2 things play a huge part in how Waterpon is played/how it is played against so they probably need to be mentioned
This Pokémon is so broken looking at this analysis lolz

here I don’t really like the example of gouging because it only really stops Waterpon in Sun. Without Sun Waterpon cleanly 2hkos bulky gouging with just tera water. Gouging works on non Sun as well from what I’ve seen so I would replace it with ferro and removing its lefties is amazing for waterpon.

After that this is 1/2!

Heatran also sets Stealth Rock to help Ogerpon-W defeat its answers that lack recovery, like Raging Bolt and Archaludon if lacking Ogerpon-W lacks sounds like arch lacks superpower Superpower, over a longer period of time if it cannot brute-force its way through them. Offensive teammates like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, Weavile, and Mega Tyranitar can deal with Dragon-types like the aforementioned Raging Bolt and Dragonite; Weavile and Mega Tyranitar in particular can Pursuit trap said Dragon-types, allowing opening up for could still be other things in the way of a sweep Ogerpon-W to sweep.
