Conkeldurr @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch / Close Combat
- Facade
- Knock Off
- Mach Punch

A terrifying wallbreaker has muscled its way up the rankings of the UU tier! Conkeldurr's raw power and Guts boost make it one of the most devastating wallbreakers in the tier, having little to no switch-ins. Drain Punch helps it stick around for longer, while Close Combat is a nuclear move capable of OHKOing even the likes of Celesteela. Facade gives Conkeldurr an excellent way to hit targets like Primarina, Hatterene, and Amoonguss, taking advantage of its Flame Orb. Knock Off cripples switch-ins while also letting Conkeldurr hit Ghost-types like Aegislash. While Conkeldurr is an absolute offensive powerhouse, it appreciates pivot support, as it dislikes being chipped prior to wallbreaking. Slow pivots like Slowking work excellently with it, with Slowking's Future Sight making it even more difficult to switch into. Fast pivots like Jirachi and Zarude are also good partners for Conkeldurr, positioning it against Pokémon it can take advantage of like Celesteela and Excadrill. Tapu Bulu also makes for a solid partner, passively offsetting Conkeldurr's burn damage with Grassy Terrain while overwhelming their shared checks like Tangrowth.

A terrifying wallbreaker has muscled it's way up the rankings of the UU tier! Conkeldurr's raw power combined with a Guts boost makes it one of the most devistating devastating breakers in the tier, having little to no switch-ins. Drain Punch is Conkeldurr's main STAB move, hitting extremely hard while circumventing its weakness to chip damage this prob reads better w smth like offsets the burn damage by providing healing. include cc info Facade gives Conkeldurr an excellent way to neutrally hit targets like Primarina, Hatterene and Amoonguss, taking advantage of its doubled powerI think you can just mention flame orb explicitly, explaining what moves literally do is generally weird. Knock Off is able to punish switch-ins like Tangrowth and Skarmory by removing their items same thing, while also letting Conkeldurr hit Ghost-types like Aegislash and Chandelure. While Conkeldurr is an absolute offensive powerhouse, it relies on pivot support greatly i mean yes but conk is just v good, it's not dependent on pivots for viability just tone it down. Partners like Jirachi and Slowking work excellently with it, with Jirachi being able to set up Stealth Rock and use Wish to heal it during the battle and Slowking setting up Future Sight for it, making it even more difficult to switch into this is phrased awkwardly, you can prob split this and include another faster pivot that synergizes well.
the 1000 character guideline doesn't count spaces btw, lmk on discord and I'll give it another read
