Clefable @ Sticky Barb
Ability: Magic Guard
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Knock Off / Thunder Wave

Despite not having a single stat above 95, Clefable once again finds itself facing down OU's strongest dragons thanks to its excellent utility and Magic Guard, which lets it pull off running Sticky Barb to weaken physically offensive foes like Roaring Moon and Gliscor. Clefable is a solid option for a Stealth Rock setter, as it matches up well into Great Tusk. Knock Off adds to Clefable's incredible role compression, letting it cripple potential switch-ins like Gholdengo and Galarian Slowking and making foes vulnerable to picking up Sticky Barb, while Thunder Wave instead hinders opposing offensive threats like Roaring Moon and Kyurem. Though Fairy is already a good defensive typing, Tera Steel flips Clefable's matchup against Poison-types like Galarian Slowking and allows it to easily take Acrobatics from Roaring Moon. Clefable's underwhelming stats means it appreciates having a second physically defensive teammate, like Dondozo or Corviknight, which in turn appreciate Clefable's ability to absorb Knock Off. Gliscor is an especially notable teammate, as it can run Spikes to form a hazard-stacking core with Clefable and Knock Off to support Thunder Wave variants, enabling Clefable to more easily pass off its Sticky Barb.

Character Count: 1049

This is mostly good, but a quick thing
which lets it pull off running Sticky Barb to weaken foes U-turning on it
I do not like that this is the stray example as Barb is frequently used as a way to stifle Roaring Moon's Acrobatics sets (you do mention TWave for this, but I would argue you just Moonblast + Sticky Barb it anyway as Moon forces Tera + Taunt covers TWave if it is Tera Fly) -- basically I would expand on this to say "which lets it pull off runnng Sticky Barb to weaken physical attacking foes" to cast a wider net if possible. If you want to list examples, then Roaring Moon, Gliscor, and Corviknight could be pulled from other bits and condensed here potentially to save characters.

Rest is all good, I just think the Sticky Barb applications are more than what that bit leads on as that's one (kinda less common) example
