Overview

This is a classic hazard stacking team. The aim is to get hazards up and then protect them with Gholdengo and the many Tera Ghost pokemon on the team. Fat Red Card Glimmora is a way to punish setup and fat teams that can't deal with toxic spikes. It uses Mortal Spin and Mud Slap in cases where you need to anti-lead. Gholdengo is a defensive nasty plot set with fairy moves to stop knock off pokemon. The three sweepers, :Iron Valiant::Iron Moth::Roaring Moon:, play off each others weakness: Roaring Moon draws out fairy types for Iron Moth, Iron Valiant brings in psychics and steels, and Iron Moth pulls in fire types and dragon types. Iron Moth uses 4 attacks Tera Ground to beat slowking, cinderace, clodsire. Iron Valiant is Adamant Booster Attack Tera Ghost. With Shadow Sneak, this is a potent wincondition and stallbreaker all in one, doing 40% to Dondozo with Close Combat and killing Gholdengo at +2. Roaring Moon runs 3-attacks with Fighting coverage and Tera Ghost. This lets it setup in front of things like dragonite or great tusk on an expected rapid spin. OGER :Ogerpon Cornerstone:, the centerpiece of the team, is a multifaceted wall-breaker, lead, or emergency revengekiller. The team is weak to sticky webs, double poison-type stall, and a well-played Raging Bolt.

Enjoy!

Team Building
There are three things I wanted to use:
  1. :Ogerpon Cornerstone: OGER :Ogerpon Cornerstone: I say "OGER" everytime I look at it or click Ivy Cudgel
  2. Booster Attack :Iron-Valiant:
  3. Hazard Lead :Glimmora:
Building and playing HO is fun, so I just took these components and fleshed out the team further...

:Glimmora::Iron Valiant::Ogerpon Cornerstone: + :Iron Moth:
Iron Moth is a very natural partner to Iron Valiant, especially this physical :Iron Valiant:. It messes up Fairy types. Is a very import revenger killer against stuff like :Gouging Fire: and with Tera Ground can beat annoying blobs like :Slowking Galar:

:Glimmora::Iron Moth::Iron Valiant::Ogerpon Cornerstone: + :Roaring Moon:
Big Dragon is a beastly sweeper and a staple on HOs. It can bait out lots of Tera Fairy or some random physical wall. This softens stuff up for the rest of the team. Also randomly 6-0s off lead.

:Glimmora::Iron Moth::Iron Valiant::Roaring Moon::Ogerpon Cornerstone: + :Gholdengo:
Gholdengo is a very very easy addition to any team stacking some rocks 'n spikes. This is a fat set to not lose to the usual HO counter teamers like :zamazenta: or :rillaboom:

Sets
:ss/glimmora:
Glimmora @ Red Card
Ability: Toxic Debris
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Mortal Spin
- Mud Shot
- Spikes

Rocks n' Spikes duh. Get rock + 1 spike or just get rock. Come in later with Red Card to mess up a sweeper. Mud Shot messes up noobs that try to setup in you face and opposing Glimmora. Mortal Spin so that you don't auto-lose to sticky web. Important to clear hazard in some matchups to keep OGER's sturdy up. Tera Flying beats landorus-t, Iron Treads, and is a nice bailout option if you need to make a forced swap. Toxic Spikes are better than regular spikes if you can get them out. Good red card targets are acro roaring moon, gouging fire flare blitz, volcarona, or random u-turns. If they have 2+ poison pokemon, then dump the hazards and dont bother saving this.

:ss/iron-moth:
Iron Moth @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 124 Def / 132 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fiery Dance
- Sludge Wave
- Dazzling Gleam
- Tera Blast

4-attacks Moth. Pretty standard. Dazzling Gleam messes up the dragons on the tier. Tera blast ground beats heatran, slowking, stops para, blocks thunderclap. don't lose the booster energy willy-nilly. This is the fastest thing on the team and you can just lose if you give a free turn to roaring moon. You can force a lot of quick GG's if you tera this at the right time.

:ss/iron valiant:
Iron Valiant @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Shadow Sneak
- Knock Off / Liquidation
- Swords Dance

Booster Attack Adamant Iron Valiant. Whooooo baby. This is a set. Breaker and sweeper in one. Talk about POWER. This was originally 232 Speed Timid, but Storm Zone gave me the tip to try Adamant b/c there are some juicy rolls that you don't otherwise get. Makes the :Ogerpon-wellspring: matchup a lil riskier...you can go back to that spread if you prefer, but know you'll be missing out. At +2 This does pretty dumb things with Close Combat. This puppy cleaves through fat. Tera Ghost b/c it's OP on HO...stops spin, live E-speed, and boost up that SNEAK.

Here some calcs to give you can idea:
+2 252+ Atk Quark Drive Tera Ghost Iron Valiant Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 124 Def Iron Moth: 235-277 (78 - 92%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

I've had this happen, which was GLORIOUS
+2 252+ Atk Quark Drive Tera Ghost Iron Valiant Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Tera Fairy Kingambit on a critical hit: 357-420 (104.6 - 123.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Optionally, +2 252+ Atk Quark Drive Tera Ghost Iron Valiant Liquidation vs. 244 HP / 248+ Def Gliscor: 328-386 (93.1 - 109.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

:ss/roaring moon:
Roaring Moon @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Brick Break
- Acrobatics
- Knock Off

I don't need to explain what moon does. It's the premier dragon dancer of the tier. fear it. Brick Break punks screens and Ballooon Kingambit in one move. You could also run substitute in this slot if the sticky barb clefable nerds are online. Ideally, roaring moon will force an opposing tera for one of the other sweepers to take advantage. Tera Ghost lets you setup in the face of body press pokemon, rapid spinners, or even a dragonite!

:ss/ogerpon-cornerstone:
Ogerpon-Cornerstone (F) @ Cornerstone Mask
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Low Kick / Knock Off / Quick Attack
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Power Whip

ITSSSS YAA BOIIII
way better than that lame water version. This lady has POWER, speed, a sweet ability, and coverage for days. Rock Cudgel is one of the best moves in the game. Power Whip is better than Horn Leech or Trailblaze or whatever b/c you want to break, not sweep. Low Kick is nice b/c Rock/Grass/Fighting is amazing offensive coverage, but you can also go stuff like Quick Attack if you need emergency stops and your sturdy is down. You can lead this in game where there's not risk of U-Turn. Against stall, this will win you the game if you get to +2 and are not toxic'd. Always prioritize study if there is one of the cheese threats to this team!!!

:ss/Gholdengo:
Gholdengo @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dazzling Gleam
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
- Recover

The anti-doggo dude. Yeah also a pretty simple set. Beats :zamazenta::Garganacl::Weavile::Roaring Moon: etc. save tera if you can. Yout don't want to lose a spin block for nothing. Trashes on grassy terrain team by itself.

Threats
The usual HO stompers...
Scarf :Meowscarada: need to use tera or glimmora
fat :volcarona: can't get to +2
:weavile:
:zamazenta: with a weakened Gholdengo
:Raging-bolt: need to use tera ground or keep moon healthy
:kingambit: will always be able to cheese you with its tera type. save sturdy or valiant
:Barraskewda: will flip turn on you. punish with hazards and red card
:Ribombee: b/c so reliant on mortal spin to clear, webs will mess you up if they have balloon gholdengo

Replays
:Landorus-Therian::Primarina::Volcarona::Ogerpon-Wellspring::Kingambit::Dragapult: glimmora does a number on em
:zamazenta::Dragapult::volcarona::Blissey::Gliscor::clefable: knocking clef makes easy win vs strong player
:wo-chien::Alomomola::Gholdengo::slowking-galar::Gliscor::Cinderace: salty fat team
:garganacl::gliscor::great tusk::toxapex::gholdengo::iron valiant: Valiant cleans up once the spikes are in play. No counter play for opponent

Thanks for reading!
