Choosing the right Blissey.

Hey guys,

I've been considering raising a Blissey for a few days now, and am torn of which set to raise it with. I remember reading a post about a Blissey set consisting of Charge Beam, Ice Beam, Softboiled, and Charm (with Serene Grace) that seemed interesting to me, but I'm not sure how well that would work. I'm also considering one with Sing/Ice Beam/Softboiled/insertmovehere (Heal Bell/Aromatherapy, probably) (I don't have access to a Seismic Toss one). That seems like it'd be pretty useful to me as well, but once again, not sure how to go. I'm looking for more of a wall (in particular for a THREE MAN TEAM) that can actually do some form of damage, and it seems kinda like Blissey is the best way to go by far, as it can take a hit from anything provided it has the right EV spread.

What would you guys recommend? Is the Serene Grace Blissey I read about actually practical, or does it just sound good in theory? I'd like to hear your opinions.

Actually, I did happen to catch that thread, but since I can't have Seismic Toss on a Blissey, I've been trying to figure out alternative ways to go. I just don't know how practical the Charge Beam Serene Grace Blissey really is.

Go with whatever supports your team the best. If you need someone to Aromatherapy it, go with Aroma/SoftBoiled/Fillers. Seismic toss is really good though, because it prevents Raikou from walling you and such.

The best Bliss would be the one that fits your team, really.

well the 90% chance of getting a special boost is pretty cool and allows you to have bolt beam with a pseudo-calm mind. in all honesty, i think your set would work just fine. natural cure is REALLY cool though...

I don't think a Pseudo-Calm Minder Bliss can work in pratic, an Electivire would just switch while you boost your Sp.Atk and Cross Chop you.

Also, the lack of Natural Cure and Heal Bell/Aromatherapy hurts, and CH ignores your Charm and are really dangerous, specially Stone Edge everywhere.

Without Charm Blissey can't even imagine to survive the setup.

With Charm at least she can dream to get a high special attack and sweep.

Well... Pseudo-CMer Bliss is pretty good in theory, but can't work in pratic. Depending on Charge Beam to raises its Sp.Atk is easily walled (Garchomp/Rhyperior/Electivire) and it's as fragile as every Blissey is, but without Natural Cure, which hurts.
