AAA Choice Band Samurott Hisui [QC 2/2][GP 1/1]

[SET]
Choice Band (Samurott-Hisui) @ Choice Band
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ceaseless Edge
- Liquidation
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch

[SET COMMENTS]
Hisuian Samurott is a decent wallbreaker due to Adaptability, Choice Band, and a great STAB combination that also pressures the ever-present Corviknight to choose between recovery and Defogging. Ceaseless Edge is a versatile move that deals good damage to foes while also setting up Spikes, helping Hisuian Samurott's teammates or even itself to pick off chipped foes later in the game. Knock Off provides utility by removing items from switch-ins such as Corviknight and Quaquaval. Sucker Punch is a good priority move that lets Hisuian Samurott deal heavy damage to faster foes such as Cinderace, Iron Moth, and Zapdos. Brick Break can be used instead to deal with dual screens leads such as Corviknight and Mew. Hisuian Samurott's ability to set up Spikes and pester defensive Pokemon such as Corviknight and Scream Tail by removing their items is appreciated by various offensive teammates such as Chien-Pao and Galarian Zapdos that can take advantage of chipped foes. Fluffy and Intimidate Quaquaval wall Hisuian Samurott very easily, so spinblockers such as Desolate Land Skeledirge and Ceruledge are good partners as they can pressure Quaquaval and block it from removing Spikes set by Hisuian Samurott. Hisuian Samurott is susceptible to getting revenge killed due to low Speed and bulk, so robust walls such as Corviknight and Meloetta that can pivot and provide safe switch in opportunities to it are appreciated.

Samurott-H is a decent wallbreaker due to adaptability, Choice Band, and a great STAB combination. Ceaseless Edge is a versatile move that deals good damage to foes while also setting up spikes, helping Samurott-H's teammates or even itself to pick off chipped opponents later in the game. Knock Off provides utility by removing items from switch-ins such as Corviknight and Quaquaval. Brick Break helps against Pokemon such as Fluffy Quaquaval, Roaring Moon as well as Chesnaught that resist both of its STAB moves while also helping liquidation outdamages brick break on fluffy quav, which can spin, low kick or uturn on samurott. moon should not be switching into samurott, and if both are on the field, moon outspeeds and 2hkoes w/ crunch / ohkoes with tfang if carrying it / low chance of ohkoing w/ uturn. chesnaught is frankly not too common. hell, i dont see much merit to brick break, you could consider removing it but would need confirmation by a QC member. with dual screens leads such as Prankster Mew and Corviknight. Samurott-H's ability to set up spikes and pester defensive Pokemon such as Corviknight and Scream Tail by removing their items is appreciated by various offensive teammates such as Iron Moth, Chien-Pao, and Zapdos-G that can take advantage of chipped opponents. Pokemon such as Fluffy Quaquaval and Chesnaught wall Samurott-H very easily so counterplay to them in Pokemon such as Corviknight and Scream Tail is recommended. the lack of speed hurts it a lot, might want to add faster teammates like chien pao or slow pivots that can get it in safely like corv/melo. also lacks bulk meaning it gets revenge killed easily

You did this a lot of times so I will also note:
> Opposing Pokemon should never be called "opponents" -> the opponent is the person you're playing against, and opposing Pokemon can be referred to as "foes" instead. Please change all instances of this.

Sucker Punch is a good priority move that lets Hisuian Samurott deal heavy damage to faster foes such as Cinderace, Iron Moth, and Zapdos (Maybe worth mentioning it also being to revenge kill choiced Pokemon). Brick Break can be used instead to deal with dual screens leads such as Corviknight and Mew. Pokemon such as Fluffy Quaquaval and Chesnaught Zarude (fluffy chesnaught is basically non existent 1.1% usage) wall Hisuian Samurott very easily so counterplay to them in Pokemon such as Corviknight and Scream Tail is recommended. Spinblockers such as Desolate Land (i dont really get mentioning desolate land here since it doesnt do anything mentioned in the set) Skeledirge and Ceruledge are good partners as they can block foes from removing Spikes set by Hisuian Samurott. Hisuian Samurott is susceptible to getting revenge killed due to low speed and bulk so teammates slow Pivots such as Corviknight and Meloetta that can pivot and provide safe switch in opportunities to it are appreciated.

Any team will have switchins to defensive Quaq and Chesnaught, what's needed is pressure on them. You can merge these last two sentences into one, since Chesnaught isn't worth mentioning. Hisuian Samurott is susceptible to getting revenge killed due to low speed and bulk so teammates robust walls such as Corviknight and Meloetta that can pivot and provide safe switch in opportunities to it are appreciated.
