Choice Band Mega Garchomp is a strong wallbreaker thanks to its high Attack and good STAB moves. Dragon + Ground offers good coverage that only Celesteela resists, and even then, it needs to be using Fur Coat to survive two uses of Glaive Rush; Mega Garchomp also isn't weak to Stealth Rock, giving it an advantage over a close competitor in Kyurem-B. Headlong Rush is generally better than Precipice Blades, as it doesn't miss and Imposter users aren't immune to Tough Claws's damage boost, but Precipice Blades has more PP and doesn't make contact. Sunsteel Strike is necessary for smashing through Fur Coat Mega Audino and Arceus-Fairy, which are otherwise unbreakable walls. Bolt Strike can 2HKO Fur Coat Mega Slowbro and Celesteela; alternatively, U-turn can provide momentum and still help weaken Mega Slowbro. While Mega Garchomp is powerful, it isn't fast, meaning Fur Coat Arceus formes can always outspeed it and attempt to heal with Strength Sap; as a result, allies that can limit Strength Sap's recovery, such as Blissey and Magic Bounce users, are good support. Most other offensive Pokemon in the tier outspeed Mega Garchomp and chase it out, so solid defensive options like Mega Audino, Celesteela, and Arceus formes are recommended. Mega Garchomp also requires correct prediction to make any substantial progress, so reliable pivots like RegenVest users are useful. Mega Garchomp's use of four contact moves means Burning Bulwark is a massive problem, so an Imposter user can help with scouting in order to avoid a disaster. Imposter-proof Mega Garchomp with a bulky Fur Coat user like Mega Slowbro, Celesteela, or an Arceus forme; if Mega Garchomp is using Bolt Strike, Celesteela shouldn't be used, but Mega Slowbro still works.

Choice Band Mega Garchomp is a strong wallbreaker thanks to high Attack and good STAB moves. Dragon + Ground offers good coverage that only Celesteela resists, and even then, it needs to be using Fur Coat to survive 2 Glaive Rushes; Mega Garchomp also isn't weak to Stealth Rock, giving it advantage over a close competitor in Kyurem-B. Sunsteel Strike is necessary for smashing through Fur Coat Mega Audino and the rarer Arceus-Fairy, which are otherwise unbreakable walls. Bolt Strike can 2HKO Fur Coat Mega Slowbro, Yveltal, and Celesteela Dondozo instead of Yveltal, more relevant; alternatively, U-turn can provide momentum and still helps weaken Mega Slowbro. While Mega Garchomp is powerful, it isn't fast, meaning Fur Coat Arceus formes can always outspeed it and attempt to heal with Strength Sap; as such, allies that can limit Strength Sap's recovery, such as Blissey and Magic Bounce users, are good support. Most other offensive Pokemon in the tier outspeed Mega Garchomp and chase it out, so solid defensive options like Mega Audino and Arceus formes are recommended. Mention how Chomp is somewhat prediction reliant so having consistent pivots is useful. Mega Garchomp's use of four contact moves also means Burning Bulwark is a massive problem if this is a massive problem then Precipice Blades should be slashed, so an Imposter user can help with scouting in order to avoid a disaster. Imposter-proof Mega Garchomp with a bulky Fur Coat user like Mega Slowbro, Celesteela, or an Arceus forme; if Mega Garchomp is using Bolt Strike, Celesteela shouldn't be used, but Mega Slowbro still works.

Sunsteel Strike is necessary for smashing through Fur Coat Mega Audino and the rarer Arceus-Fairy arc fairy is pretty common unless you mean fc arc fairy is rare, which are otherwise unbreakable walls. Bolt Strike can 2HKO Fur Coat Mega Slowbro and Celesteela; alternatively, U-turn can provide momentum and still helps weaken Mega Slowbro. While Mega Garchomp is powerful, it isn't fast, meaning Fur Coat Arceus formes can always outspeed it and attempt to heal with Strength Sap; as such, allies that can limit Strength Sap's recovery, such as Blissey and Magic Bounce users, are good support. Most other offensive Pokemon in the tier outspeed Mega Garchomp and chase it out, so solid defensive options like Mega Audino, Celesteela, and Arceus formes are recommended added celes because its another good fc option that resist steel + mspin blocks. Mega Garchomp also requires correct prediction to make any substantial progress, so reliable pivots like RegenVest users are useful could add names of regenvest users as examples, not necessary though.
