With its incredible Attack and a near-unparalleled Speed tier, Chien-Pao excels as a revenge killer and late-game sweeper that can easily dispatch weakened defensive foes. Icicle Crash and Crunch are its main offensive options, threatening common pivots like Garchomp and Skeledirge; Icicle Crash also bypasses Fluffy. Sacred Sword picks up an OHKO on Steel-types like Hisuian Goodra, Heatran, and Kingambit while also threatening physical walls like Zamazenta-C and Garganacl. Ice Shard lets Chien-Pao revenge kill Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Hisuian Electrode, as well as Agility or Dragon Dance users like Galarian Moltres or Roaring Moon. This Pokemon is often paired with defensive entry hazard setters and slow, defensive pivots that can allow it to switch in freely. For example, Corviknight has both a slow U-turn to pivot Chien-Pao in freely and Defog to remove hazards. Additionally, Rapid Spin users like Iron Treads can clear the opponent's hazards, which punish Chien-Pao for switching in. Finally, bulky wallbreakers and Fire-type attackers like Kingambit or Ceruledge help Chien-Pao deal with physically defensive Steel-types, like Tinkaton and Intimidate Corviknight, weakening them and making Chien-Pao's job as an endgame cleaner more efficient.

With its incredible Attack and nearly-unparalleled Speed tier, Chien-Pao excels as a revenge killer and late-game sweeper that can easily dispatch weakened defensive foes. Icicle Crash and Crunch are its main offensive options, threatening common pivots like Garchomp and Skeledirge Corviknight Intimidate Corviknight beats Chien-Pao barring chip/flinch. Sacred Sword allows Chien-Pao to pick up an OHKO on Steel-types like Hisuian Goodra, Heatran, and Kingambit while also giving it an option against defensive Rock-types like Garganacl I'd also potentially mention how it can threaten Zamazenta-Crowned as the move ignores any defensive boosts. Ice Shard lets Chien-Pao compete with Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Hisuian Electrode as well as and Agility or Dragon Dance users like Galarian Moltres or Roaring Moon. Choice Band stacked with Sword of Ruin and 252 Attack EVs allows Chien-Pao to maximize its offensive power . This pokemon is often paired with defensive hazard setters and slow, defensive pivots that can allow it to switch in freely without being threatened by an attack. (remove period) such as Corviknight is an ideal teammate, as it has access to both Defog and a slow U-Turn to pivot Chien-Pao in freely. Utility Mew sets that carry U-Turn and Spikes or Toxic Spikes can add more hazards to the mix while still staying in line with the VoltTurn team archetype that Chien-Pao excels on. Finally, Fire-type attackers like Hisuian Arcanine or Ceruledge help Chien-Pao deal with physically defensive Steel-types like Tinkaton and Intimidate Corviknight.

Maybe make this Iron Treads or Garchomp? Utility Mew is less common this gen Finally, Fire-type attackers like Hisuian Arcanine or Ceruledge help Chien-Pao deal with physically defensive Steel-types like Tinkaton and Intimidate Corviknight. I would focus more on its need for hazard removal, as this thing hates rocks so bad. Also would re-frame the offensive teammates as preferring slow and powerful wallbreakers, as it functions as a cleaner more than a pure wallbreaker

Steel-types like Hisuian Goodra, Heatran, and Kingambit while also threatening physical walls like Zamazenta-C and Garganacl. Ice Shard lets Chien-Pao revenge kill Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Hisuian Electrode, (AC) as well as Agility or Dragon Dance users like Galarian Moltres or Roaring Moon. This pokemon Pokemon is often paired with defensive entry hazard setters (just in case, bc you include corvi and its defog: did you mean 'removers'? if you do make this change, you can put defog first in the next sentence again) and slow, defensive pivots that can allow it to switch in freely (you can also do ..."that can allow it to switch in without an attack threatening it." subsequently) without being threatened by an attack such as Corviknight as it has access to both Defog and a slow U-Turn freely. For example, Corviknight has both a slow U-turn to pivot Chien-Pao in freely and Defog. Additionally, Rapid Spin users like Iron Treads can help clear the opponent's hazards, (AC) which make Chien-Pao unable to switch in freely. Finally, Bulky Wallbreakers bulky wallbreakers and Fire-type attackers like Kingambit or Ceruledge help Chien-Pao deal with physically defensive Steel-types, (AC) like Tinkaton and Intimidate Corviknight, weakening them and making Chien-Pao's job as an endgame cleaner more efficient.

can I just get a second pair of eyes on this piece, not sure if I implemented correctly. seems a bit clunky but as soon as this is polished / approved this can go up

you implemented correctly, yeah

whether or not it is 'desirable' gp-wise, we can always just do a different version if you would like a different version more

if you tell me what you dislike about it, i'm sure we can find some alternatives

Upon some rereads I just think the whole repetition of "freely" and the "and defog" tacked on at the end of corv's sentence make it a bit clunky. im putting this instead

This Pokemon is often paired with defensive entry hazard setters and slow, defensive pivots that can allow it to switch in freely. For example, Corviknight has both a slow U-turn to pivot Chien-Pao in freely and Defog to remove hazards. Additionally, Rapid Spin users like Iron Treads can clear the opponent's hazards, which punish Chien-Pao for switching in.

good to go up if this is good for gp
