[SET COMMENTS]

Bisharp's access to the ability Defiant and its respectable Dark / Steel-typing allow it to be a threatening attacker in the 1v1 metagame. Sucker Punch allows Bisharp to reliably beat faster Pokemon such as Choice Specs Dragapult, and Chandelure, while Iron Head KOes opposing Fairy-types such as Whimsicott, Grimmsnarl, and most Sylveon. It also lets Bisharp fish for flinches in a pinch, such as against Primarina. Stone Edge in conjunction with Defiant allows Bisharp to take advantage of Intimidate from Arcanine and Incineroar and KO them. Knock Off is Bisharp's strongest STAB move initially due to the 50% boost against opposing Pokemon with an item. This helps Bisharp against Eviolite users such as Galarian Corsola and Ghost-types that use status moves such as Trevenant. It also lets Bisharp beat Trick Chandelure, as otherwise they could simply PP stall Bisharp's Sucker Punch. 204 Speed EVs allow Bisharp to outspeed uninvested Arcanine and Kyurem. 232 SpD EVs allow Bisharp to survive Fire Blast from Choice Scarf Togekiss. Defiant is used to get past Intimidate users like Arcanine, Incineroar, and Gyarados, and Strength Sap users such as Corsola-G.

Bisharp struggles with Fighting-types and Dragon-types with Fighting-type coverage such as Keldeo, Sawk, Conkeldurr, and Haxorus. This makes Fighting-resistant teammates such as Primarina, Quick Attack Sylveon, and Golisopod useful. In return, Bisharp can deal with some specific Pokemon for them such as stall Arcanine and most Sylveon. Bisharp's weakness to many stall Pokemon such as Corviknight, Foul Play Mandibuzz, and Gastrodon makes stallbreaking teammates such as Taunt Rillaboom and Laser Focus Sawk good teammates. Bisharp's strength against Pokemon such as Choice Specs Gengar, Choice Specs Dragapult, and Aromatisse helps these teammates in return. Bisharp also struggles with some bulky attackers such as Primarina and Blastoise. Because of this, Grass-type wallbreakers such as Petaya Berry Venusaur and Rillaboom make good partners. In return, Bisharp can beat many Fairy-, Fire-, and Ghost-types such as Togekiss, stall Arcanine and Choice Specs Dragapult.
