Chien-Pao takes a stab at wallbreaking in Ubers! Blazing Speed, Choice Band, and Sword of Ruin ensure Chien-Pao threatens to OHKO the majority of the tier, including dangerous threats like Koraidon, Miraidon, Flutter Mane, and Iron Bundle. Physical walls are far from safe, as Icicle Crash 2HKOes physically defensive Corviknight and Crunch 2HKOes Toxapex after Stealth Rock or with Tera Dark. The combination of Ice Shard and Sucker Punch can hit all of Chien-Pao's usual revenge killers for over 60% of their health, allowing it to act as a consistent late-game cleaner and powerful revenge killer itself. Alternatively, Sacred Sword targets the rare Kingambit, which is the only Pokemon not 2HKOed by Chien-Pao's STAB attacks, though it often tends to Terastallize itself and thus weaken its defensive profile. Chien-Pao gets worn down quickly due to its vulnerability to entry hazards, so teammates that remove them like Great Tusk and Iron Treads are recommended. Chien-Pao also struggles to switch in safely due to its meager defensive profile, so pivots like Iron Bundle and Corviknight are useful.
