SV OU can someone tell me how to improve my team

Screenshot_13-11-2024_105114_play.pokemonshowdown.com.jpeg

Typhlosion-Hisui
The main special attacker
it has earthquake because ive seen that move sweep alot of teams
it also has choice specs for obvious reasons

Palossand
Kind of a staller
it has sandstorm to chip some damage in and giga drain to stay alive
it has pain split so i can stay alive longer

Dusclops
Just kinda filler.
It has shadow sneak and its pretty defensive
substitute, protect, and endure too

Basculegion
A counter to some hard hitters like incineroar
it has hydro pump as a strong water move
Also has crunch for all the strong ghost types

Snorlax
just a simple tank
it can take alot of damage and use counter to kill them
theres also body slam for damage purpouses

Sableye
probobally the most useless on the team
just a fairy move user because i heard fairy was broken
pain split to get others low

Just saying, assault vest’s effects are so that only attacking moves can be used(while you get a 1.5x in spedef), which rain dance is not(an attacking move). So I doubt that rain dance would be of use unless you’re knocked off/in magic room(which is in gen 9, I checked). Additionally, soft sand boosts ground type ATTACKS, which your polassand does not have.

Hi, I will rate this right off the bat.
Basically what you have here is a collection of pokemon that might do something on their own but together make a team that is not suited for standard ladder battles. In the OU metagame the power level is a lot higher than what you have here and several top pokemon can mow through you with little to no effort.

Kingambit hits four out of your six pokemon supper effectively and theres little they can do about it. Dusclops does literally nothing in return, Typhlosion cannot outplay sucker punch, Palossand has to hope your opponent doesn't know what destiny bond does, your fish has rain dance on an assualt vest pokemon and dies to one kowtwo cleave anyway. You don't even have a way to status it or burn and your only hope is snorlax can live and counter

Basically the same example as above except even worse. Since it outspeeds and can set up, not even snorlax counter can revenge it since taunt shuts that down and moon can just boost forever. This is an extremely common set on ladder and can basically 6-0 you from preview.

What I would advise is to play a little with some sample teams to get a feel for what are the biggest threats in the metagame. Alternatively you can choose to run a lower level team in the lower tier metagames. Typhlosion-Hisui for example is a solid attacker in the NU metagame
