Welcome to the Camove Chaos Cup, the first major tournament solely featuring the Other Meta Mashup of Camove Chaos. Camove is an unofficial format based in Gen 9 National Dex with Camomons Mod and a removal of the Obtainable Moves Clause. This means that any Pokemon can use any move* (with some bans) and any type. When Camomons Mod is added to a game, every Pokemon's type will match the types of its first two moveslots. This creates many viable new and never-before seen strategies, Pokemon, great metagame diversity, and challenges how we see types in standard play. Camove, since its creation (by yours truly), has risen to OMM fame and is widely agreed to be the current most popular OMM. It has been featured in OMM Trios and Tours Plaza Premiere VI, but it has never gotten its own spotlight in the form of a completely Camove tournament. This tournament aims to bring the format some well-deserved attention in other areas of competitive Pokemon outside the fairly niche OMM community.

Camove now has Team Type Preview! The type combinations of both players' Pokemon will be shown at the start of a match.

KYUREM, CHARIZARD-MEGA-Y, DARMANITAN, HEAL ORDER, BANEFUL BUNKER, AND HOOPA-UNBOUND ARE BANNED AS OF THE LATEST SLATE. THE CODE ABOVE IS UP TO DATE.

  • The tournament will be played in a Double Elimination format, with all matches being played in a Best of 3 set. Gentlemanning into a Bo1 is allowed for all matches until semifinals. Grand Finals will be played with a bracket reset.
  • The prize pool will be split 50/30/20 between 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place.
ROUND 2 WILL END 11:59 PM SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd (GMT-7). REPLAYS ARE MANDATORY. EXTENSIONS ARE ONLY ALLOWED IF ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

Due to the immense amount of activity wins, extension calls, and matches that have had absolutely zero attempt at scheduling, I have decided to extend the round by a week. It will now end 11:59 PM SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10th (GMT-8).

The matches below, which were previously decided by activity calls, are eligible for rescheduling

- If an unplayed match is still not played with no attempts to schedule by the aforementioned deadline, both players will be removed completely from the tournament regardless of bracket.

- If an unplayed match remains unplayed due to a player not responding to their opponent's contact (and a match is not scheduled), the unresponsive player will be completely removed from the tournament regardless of bracket.

- If a match is scheduled but one party misses the scheduling deadline and activity is called, the player that has activity called on them will not be eliminated from the tournament unless they are in losers bracket. If both players miss the match, the match will be coinflipped.
