Not A Bug Superpower doesn't activate Sheer Force

What is the bug?
I am using the ability Sheer Force on my Landorous-incarnate and when I went to use the move Superpower my stats were still lowered even after having Sheer Force chosen.

It's just something that's bugging me because the ability Sheer Force for some reason seems to be heavily nerfed and doesn't work properly, I do understand that for moves that have recoil or affect the fate of the Pokémon like explosion follow that principle, but Superpower is only a stat lowering move that with the help of Sheer Force shouldn't be ajffecting Landorous.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?

also it seems that life orb also takes some of my health.

Stat drops are not considered a secondary effect, so it is correct that Sheer Force did not boost the move/remove the stat drops. This is also why Life Orb still dealt damage, as Life Orb's damage is only negated by Sheer Force if the move used has a secondary effect.
