This is a basic team I use called Banded Pow. The team relies heavily on Bronzong checking many of Hydreigon's and Terrakion's threats while they attempt to break through opposing teams. Serperior and Chandy help add multiple dimensions to the team, allowing it to prepare for almost the entire meta, from HO to stall. Tenta spins and is a blanket bulky Water-type that checks half of the offensive meta.
Submissions are due by Thursday, so get to breaking!

I first noticed how badly Aero runs train on this team. I THEN noticed how nearly every Aero answer (The Gyro Ball-less Bronzong, the scarfed Serp) are two of the most trappable mons I've seen in a long time in UU. Muk comes in and beats Serp very easily, it also comes in on Zong who can't touch it at all whatsoever, and chips it down with pursuit until its a non-factor. Muk also gets chip on Hydra to put it in M-Aero's Stone Edge range. It also lays down pressure on Chandy, but so does Aero. Aero is aqua tail because it has a higher chance to kill Terrakion after rocks than EQ, while EQ is still there to ruin Tentacruel. I wasn't sure what to put in the last slot on Aero since I covered most grounds, but I figured roost to stop rocks chip was always a safe bet.

Mega Doom is there for Chandy, Serp, and Bronzong. Will-o on the Terrakion switchin allows Hera to live any hit and OHKO with Close Combat. Destiny Bond is there to take something down with you since you outspeed everything on the team bar Serp (which you OHKO with Flamethrower). Otherwise you're hoping to just let Scarf Hera run through this squad.
Zygarde-10% 2HKOs, if not OHKOs, anything. The only thing it does not 2HKO can be used as setup fodder by Mega Altaria, which also has a really good matchup against the team, barring Bronzong.

The first thing I noticed was the lack of a ground-type, so I thought Mega Manectric would be a nice first pick. After that I decided to pick something that would benefit a lot from the momentum that Mega Manectric could get while also taking some sort of advantage of the whole team. This made me pick Suicune.
Even though it has a Tentacruel, after a Scald burn it's a matter of time and some Scald's until it gets low enough to the point of not being a threat. Not only that, Vincune also takes advantage of the fact that 3 mons of the team are choice locked, being able to scout effectively what they are going for, being really useful as those 3 choiced mons are the only real threats to an unboosted Suicune. It can also stall out Serperior of Leaf Storm's, Hydreigon can be taken on after a +1 Spdef boost, Terrakion has few pp's on its moves to really be effective. The main way the team has to deal with it effectively is to pressure it offensively, something that Mega-Manectric can get going for me.
I could see scarf Serp being annoying versus this core, but overall I think it needs very few support in order to be effective versus this team.
Decided to go with Mega-Beedrill, it’s a clear threat to this team, being able to hit every mon super effectively. The only thing that Beedrill can’t out-speed it is Serperior, but hp fire is only a 3HKO. This pivot core keeps a lot of pressure on these banded mons, and can easily plow through everything except Tenta.

This is a team I made around Bewear. I wanted to try out the SD Normalium Z set due to its wallbreaking power. Rhyperior was nice, as it gave me rocks and is an answer to some threats. Scep helped by abusing Water- and Ground-types, while tenta gave me a Scizor and loom answer while also being a spinner. Sylveon gave me a dragon answer and holds the team together with wish support. Meanwhile, Hydreigon allowed me to have some speed control and be a nice ghost resist.
This team relies on Sylveon to not get completely destroyed by DragonSpam. But what happens when the Dragon lures and kills Sylveon? Mega Altaria in general is pretty annoying for this team tbh. Poisonium Z Hydra lures in Sylveon and kills it for Altaria. Really the only thing that can check it once Sylv is gone is Tenta, which is prone to getting worn down by the lack of Wish support. Plus Alt also walls Mega Scept. You can also use DD Hax > Hydreigon, but I just prefer Hydreigon in general tbh.
Calcs:
252 SpA Hydreigon Acid Downpour (190 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Sylveon: 322-380 (81.7 - 96.4%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
0- Atk Altaria-Mega Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 220 Def Tentacruel: 150-178 (41.2 - 48.9%) -- 14.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery

This team's Kyurem switchins do not exist. Every mon that doesn't get clean OHKOed from full gets convincingly 2hkoed by the right coverage move.
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 24 SpD Sylveon: 172-204 (43.6 - 51.7%) -- 67.6% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Tentacruel: 252-298 (69.2 - 81.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Draco Meteor over 2 turns vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Tentacruel: 362-429 (99.4 - 117.8%) -- guaranteed KO in 2 turns after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery It should also be noted that either of these into this kills Tenta if it and/or Kyurem decides to run:
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Tentacruel: 94-111 (25.8 - 30.4%) -- 99.7% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Solid Rock Rhyperior: 379-447 (87.3 - 102.9%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Bewear: 331-391 (86.8 - 102.6%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Bewear: 478-564 (125.4 - 148%) -- guaranteed OHKO
I don't even think I need to calc Hydra or Scep vs Kyurem's STABs. Sylveon is the only "Safe" switch in and that loses to a pathetic amount of chip. This is where Muk comes in. Muk pressures the living hell out of Sylveon and stops it from nabbing the recovery needed to check Kyurem, and chipping it into guaranteed ice beam range. It also checks both Mega Sceptile and Hydreigon, coming in on them safely to stop them from revenge killing Kyurem. Muk has fire blast over punch here to dick any chance of Bewear thinking it can come in or setup safely on Muk. Overall, the game plan here is to come in on something slower with Kyurem and snag a free kill, and then foil any attempts to remove it afterwards with Muk. A good predict on Tenta makes this strategy even stronger as such a predict means Kyurem can click ice beam completely cost-free. Pair these two with any kind of good rocker and watch this team fall to pieces.
Really simple - Z-Aura Sphere Togekiss pretty much wins against this team on its own if you have some moderate luck. It has 2 perfect setup opportunities against Sceptile and Hydreigon, and can pretty much cleave the entire team apart from there with aforementioned moderate luck (1 flinch on Tenta). Jellicent provides some insurance since it can wall Rhyperior, Bewear, and Tentacruel very easily if the situation calls for it. Toxic is a nice option in general for Jellicant since Taunt + Wisp is not as effective at breaking stall as it used to be, and it can be useful to snipe Hydreigon and Sceptile as they try to come in (though it also works for stuff like Latias, Serperior, and Volcanion, for the sake of the "not too counterteamy" argument), though Taunt is more effective for beating any Scizor variant you could come across.
So I haven't used Specs Lati yet, but it seems super fun and idk literally nothing can safely switch into it on this team so u know. Basically the idea is spam tf out of Psyshock and kill everything, obviously there is a dark type right there... but Sylveon can handle it pretty easily, and also serves as a Mega Sceptile answer since it forces Lati out. Sylveon also helps keep Lati healthy in general n shit, and Lati could throw off some Surfs n shit to maybe catch the Rhyperior, cause that thing is also lookin a lil annoying to deal with. But for the most part I think spamming psyshocks works fine.
252 SpA Choice Specs Latias Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 232+ Def Sylveon: 168-198 (42.6 - 50.2%) -- 39.5% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
