I've made quite a few teams but this is the first one that seems to be working fairly well. After seeing how strong Bisharp has been this gen, I decided to build a team around him. Any advice on improving it would be much appreciated since I'm still fairly new to this ^.^

Thanks to steel's nurf and knock-off's buff, Bisharp has become quite the offensive threat this gen. I run knock off and sucker punch as his two go to moves for killing anything that doesn't check him as long as I predict fairly accurately, Sword Dance to turn him into the +2 terror that tears up OU in the right situations, and Iron Head so he can also get past any fairies.
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
Not only does Azumarill resist two types Bisharp is weak to, it can easily KO almost any pokemon with those respective typings in return. These two pokes form my primary offensive core cause a lot of switches.
Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Superpower
Thundurus-T can switch in to any electric attacks Azumarill draws out and any earthquakes targeted at Bisharp. HP Ice kills a number of these ground threats, Focus Blast and Thunderbolt kill a number of others, and Volt Switch ensures momentum isn't lost by the switch in. I chose to use LO over scarf so I can use HP Ice when I predict it may help without being locked into it. Plus I only like to have one scarfed poke on my team and felt really wanted to use
Thundurus-Therian (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
This beast is tearing up OU and forms a solid volt-turn core with Thundurs-T. It's is great as a lead, a momentum-gaining attacker, and a cleaner if Bisharp has already been KOed. I choose bug buzz over thunderbolt it adds more coverage to my team (Thundurus has electric attacks covered).
Genesect @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Bug Buzz
With all the switches this team causes and all the switches I have to perform myself with this team, I needed a solid poke to control entry hazards. Skarmory filled this this role while also adding some much needed walling capabilities to my team. Brave Bird is to prevent it from being taunt bait and even allows it to KO certain physical threats.
Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spd
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Defog
- Stealth Rock
- Brave Bird
Sylveon is an incredible cleric and adds some more special bulk to my team. Hyper Voice has so much power after the pixilate boost that it can score KOs on quite a few of the pokes sylveon walls while protect helps with prediction, especially against choice-locked pokes.
Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect
