Belly Drum Azumarill serves as a phenomenal setup sweeper on hyper offense teams that is able to KO most Pokemon that do not resist Water with +6 Aqua Jet outright or after slight chip, such as Tornadus-T, Iron Crown, offensive Zapdos, and Cobalion. It is also a dangerous wallbreaker that annihilates slower counterplay. Azumarill is vital in providing natural defensive utility against certain sets of Latios and Greninja, in addition to being a countermeasure for hyper offense teams against the sand archetype. Play Rough enables it to KO Water-resistant Pokemon such as Hydrapple, Latios, and Kommo-o as well as beefier neutral targets like Mandibuzz and Slowking. Knock Off serves as an alternative damage option to hit Toxapex and Pecharunt, 2HKO Skeledirge, and be a more reliable way of taking out Slowking. Sitrus Berry is used to give Azumarill a much-needed health boost after using Belly Drum. The alternate EV spread lets Azumarill outspeed Skeledirge. Tera Water boosts damage from Aqua Jet, enabling it to OHKO Zapdos, as well as OHKOing Greninja and Latios after Stealth Rock. Tera Electric gives Azumarill the ability to set up on Zapdos, Tornadus-T, and Thundurus-T. Both Tera types give Azumarill a Steel resistance, which is useful to set up on Scizor and Metagross. Excadrill and Sandy Shocks provide a key role in breaking Ogerpon-C's Sturdy with entry hazards as well as getting Cobalion, Latios, and Greninja in range of +6 Aqua Jet. Thundurus-T and Ogerpon-C can pressure faster threats such as Rotom-W, Volcanion, and Tera Water Zapdos. Greninja and Bisharp are able to check Pecharunt and Sinistcha, both of which can check Azumarill. Sticky Web from Araquanid is able to slow down threats such as Sinistcha and Pecharunt, bringing them down to a speed where Adamant Azumarill can defeat them.

Azumarill best fits on Hyper Offense teams, so teammates that can wear down opposing threats are great. (such as...) Excadrill provides Stealth Rocks, which is vital for Azumarill to wear down opposing enemies, as well as a ground typing, which can deter Electric-types such as Raikou and Zapdos. Pelliper can provide rain support with Drizzle, which can power up Azumarill's Aqua Jet. (lol rip) Latios can defeat faster Water-type resists such as Rotom-W and Keldeo. In turn, Azumarill can be a phenomenal late game cleaner once all of its counters have been eliminated and its checks weakened. (I get what you mean here, but the wording is a little awkward? I'd mention another breaker that isn't Latios, or maybe talk about generic HO filler teammates like Lokix and Crown and their ability to pick off weakened opponents once Azumarill has come in and done enough damage. Some mention of ways to deal with Greninja is also prob a good idea since Sludge Wave fucks you up big time.)
