Moves
========
Hydro Pump is favored due to its being Greninja's strongest viable STAB attack. Alternatively, Surf trades power for more consistency and PP. Dark Pulse gives Greninja perfect neutral coverage against Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Mega Latias, and Gastrodon. Additionally, Dark Pulse also comes with a chance to flinch, allowing Greninja to fish for it on weakened non-Dark-resistant checks like Toxapex and Ferrothorn. Water Shuriken becomes one of the strongest priority moves when Greninja is transformed and allows Greninja to check faster Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Sand Rush Excadrill, and boosted Volcarona. Spikes allows Greninja to wear down and punish checks in the long run such as Toxapex, Tapu Bulu, and Kommo-o as well as support its teammates in games where it will struggle to make progress.

Set Details
========
Choice Specs maximizes Greninja's power and gives it the extra power to activate Battle Bond. However, Waterium Z allows Greninja to use a one-time Hydro Vortex to power through Pokemon such as Celesteela and Tornadus-T and allowing it to crucially switch moves. A Timid nature is used to allow Greninja to outspeed Tornadus-T and Tapu Koko after transformation.

Usage Tips
========
Greninja's main purpose is to KO a foe to activate Battle Bond and act as a powerful cleaner thanks to its great stats once transforming. Playing Greninja aggressively, especially if it's carrying Choice Specs, is most recommended to get the most out of Greninja's effectiveness as a wallbreaker due to it still having just enough power even prior to transformation. Predicting switches, such as against Pokemon that Greninja forces out like Heatran and Gliscor, helps Greninja pick up KOs on weakened foes more easily or support offensive partners. Against bulkier teams where Greninja can struggle to make progress, setting Spikes should always be prioritized. Good switching as well as VoltTurn support helps out Greninja immensely, since its very frail and can't switch in very easily.

Team Options
========
Ash-Greninja fits best on offense and balance teams. Pivots such as Tapu Koko and Assault Vest Magearna can get Ash-Greninja in safely. Tornadus-T and Mega Scizor can also pivot Ash-Greninja in safely while being able to check Grass-types. Wallbreakers such as Mega Mawile, Mega Medicham, and Kyurem-B can let Ash-Greninja clean more easily and enjoy the Spikes support that Ash-Greninja provides. Offensive Stealth Rock users such as Garchomp and Landorus-T can help support Ash-Greninja, since they can pressure checks such as Toxapex and Magearna. Cleaners such as Choice Scarf Victini and Mega Lopunny appreciate the extra offensive pressure that Ash-Greninja's Spikes provide, and they checks with Ash-Greninja. Ferrothorn resists Electric and Grass and provides Stealth Rock. Pelipper provides rain and can pivot Ash-Greninja in safely with U-turn. Other teammates alongside Pelipper such as Mega Swampert and Manaphy are great teammates, as they can help overwhelm defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Chansey, and Mega Swampert can also set entry hazards for Ash-Greninja. Toxapex and Clefable resist Fighting and can support Ash-Greninja with Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock, respectively. Bulkier wincons on balance teams such as Calm Mind Mega Latias and Swords Dance Gliscor appreciate Ash-Greninja's Spikes support and its ability to pressure checks such as Heatran and Mega Latias.

Moves

Hydro Pump is Greninja's strongest STAB move which, when transformed, allows it to more easily overwhelm checks such as Magearna, Tapu Bulu, and Kommo-o, especially under Rain. Hydro Pump also lets Greninja transform more easily due to it's extra power. Alternatively, Surf can be used over Hydro Pump, trading power for more consistency and PP. Dark Pulse gives Greninja perfect neutral coverage against Pokémon such as Ferrothorn, Mega Latias, and Rotom-W that would otherwise take on it's Water-STAB. Water Shuriken becomes one of the strongest priority moves in game when Greninja is transformed and allows Greninja to check faster Pokémon such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Sand Rush Excadrill, and boosted Volcarona. Spikes allows Greninja to wear down and punish checks in the long run such as Assault Vest Magearna, Kyurem-B, and Seismitoad.

Set Details
========
Choice Specs maximizes Greninja's power and allows it to muscle through Pokemon such as Clefable, Tapu Lele, and Tapu Koko after transforming at the cost of locking Greninja into a move. Choice Specs also allows Greninja to safely transform and lets its team run a different Z-Crystal. However, Waterium Z can be used over Choice Specs instead, allowing Greninja to use a one-time Hydro Vortex to power through Pokemon such as Celesteela and Tornadus-T while also crucially allowing Greninja to switch moves.

Usage Tips
========
Greninja is most effective as a wallbreaker and, most importantly, when its Checks and Counters are weakened. Thus its best to remove Pokemon such as Tapu Fini and Seismitoad so Greninja has an easier time tearing through the opposing team In that case, Greninja is not effective as a wallbreaker if it can't be efficient without removing those checks. Explain that gren's purpose is to take a kill asap to proc BB and act as a powerful cleaner. Playing Greninja aggressively, especially if its carrying Choice Specs, is most recommended to get the most out of Greninja's effectiveness as a wallbreaker due to it still having just enough power even prior to transformation. If Greninja is running Spikes over Ice Beam its best to use them on Pokemon that Greninja forces out such as Heatran or Gliscor, as it helps Greninja pick up KOs on weakend foes more easily Since Ice Beam is an un-move on gren, just explain that, instead of clicking ur button, on pokemon gren force-out predicting and setting up Spikes is better in the long-term to let gren wear down its checks and clean more easily. Good switching as well as slow users of U-turn and Volt Switch such as Landorus-T, Rotom-W, and Assault Vest Magearna helps out Greninja immensely since its very frail and cant switch in very easily Remove the examples and simply explain that volt-turn support is the ideal way to bring gren on the field

Team Options
========
Ash-Greninja fits best on offense and rain teams thanks to it providing teams a powerful offensive Pokemon that can also function as a Spiker You need to seperate this part in two: Choice Specs Gren fit more Rain and Volt-Turn offense/BO while Z-Hydro Pump is a better fit on Balance and Volt-Turn HO . Teammates that can handle Assault Vest Magearna such as Victini and Groundium Z variants of Dragon Dance Kommo-o pair well with Ash-Greninja. Victini can run a Choice Scarf set to help against faster Pokemon such as Mega Alakazam and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele as well as eliminate Grass-types such as Tapu Bulu and Ferrothorn for Ash-Greninja. In-return, Ash-Greninja can help check problematic Pokemon that Victini struggles against such as Tyranitar, Mega Latias, and Heatran (1). Pivots such as Tornadus-T and Tapu Koko pair wonderfully as they can help Greninja get in safely, while Tornadus-T can also help Ash-Greninja out against Grass-types such as Tapu Bulu, Kartana, and Mega Venusaur. On rain teams, Pelipper brings the rain and can pivot Ash-Greninja in safely with U-turn. Ferrothorn provides a sturdy defensive backbone for Greninja to fall back on while also being able to answer Water-types such as Tapu Fini and Seismitoad (2). Ash-Greninja can also run Ice Beam over Spikes if paired with Ferrothorn. In return, Ash-Greninja can handle Fire-types such as Heatran and Victini. Other teammates on rain teams such as Mega Swampert and Manaphy are great teammates as they can help overwhelm defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Assault Vest Magearna Tapu Fini, Chansey and Ferrothorn are better examples, while Mega Swampert can also setup entry hazards for Ash-Greninja.

(1) The info are true but it def need to be shorter and add more relevant examples (Z-Ground Kommo-o + Gren does not exist for me) Instead, keep victini (but keep it shorter since Scarf and Band are both valid options with Gren) and include other wallbreakers such as KB (pressure AV Mag, Chansey, Pex and Gren provide spikes), Medicham-Mega (Gren pressure psychic-types and provide spikes while Medi pressure Pex, Mag and Chansey) Mawile-Mega (same logic as Medicham) or tapu lele (spikes wear down steel while Lele pressure chansey and pex)

(2) For this sentence, cut it in two. One part explain that, for offensive and BO-ish structure, Ferrothorn is good partner because for the grass-resist and electric-resist (and potential hazards supports). The second part should mention, for balance structure, celesteela as a potential partner that provide also a strong grass-resists (while able to check zam/lele)

You should include:
-Some more volt-turn examples such as Landorus-Therian, Magearna, Jirachi, Zapdos or Scizor-Mega
-on balance, Toxapex or Clefable are good fight-resist that can support gren with t-spikes and SR respectivelty.
-Offensive rocker: Z-Garchomp and Z-landorus are the obvious partner (pressure pex and can lure grass). Diancie-Mega is also a valid picks.
-some cleaner/slow winco that appreciate spikes support: Lopunny-Mega is a good example. CM tias or SD Glis also fit this category. Can mention Kartana Scarf as well.

Choice Specs Ash-Greninja fits best on bulky offense and offense teams while Waterium Z Ash-Greninja fits best on balance and hyper offense teams. (i dont think these should be mentioned separately since they play pretty much the same in almost every game) Pivots such as Tapu Koko and Assault Vest Magearna can get Ash-Greninja in safely. Tornadus-T and Mega Scizor can also pivot Ash-Greninja in safely while being also being able to check Grass-types. Wallbreakers such as Mega Mawile, Mega Medicham, and Kyurem-B pair well with Ash-Greninja since they can let it clean more easily and enjoy the spikes support greninja provides. Cleaners such as Choice Scarf Victini as well as Mega Lopunny appreciate the extra offensive pressure that Ash-Greninja's Spikes provide as well as all sharing checks with Ash-Greninja. Ferrrothorn can provide a strong Grass- and Electric-resist in addition to providing entry hazards support (ferros usually gonna be running rocks if paired with greninja unless on certain rains). Pelipper can provide rain and can pivot Ash-Greninja in safely with U-turn. Other teammates alongside Pelipper such as Mega Swampert and Manaphy are great teammates as they can help overwhelm defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Chansey, while Mega Swampert can also setup entry hazards for Ash-Greninja. Slow Bulkier wincons on balance teams such as Calm Mind Mega Latias and Swords Dance Gliscor also appreciate Ash-Greninja's Spikes support and ability to pressure checks such as heatran and latias.
