Typhlosion is my favourite pokemon of all time ever since playing Gold when I was 8. Unfortunately he is absolutely useless. The Scarf Eruption (ScarfRuption) set is fine but I wanted to take advantage of his wide physical attacking movepool with a Choice Band set.

This set is not any better than other physical fire sets such as Charizard Mega X, Blaziken, Infernape, etc, in fact it might be decidedly worse depending on how you want to use it. A meddling speed stat, no secondary typing, and no ability to set up hold this back against other better physical fire sets. The only time you would want to use this is if you want a Typhlosion on your team but then the ScarfRuption set is a better choice.
