yes u read it right, banded Hoopa U. Let get right into the team

Descriptions:

The star off the team. Banded Hoopa U. This set is current very uncommon, over shadowed by AV Hoopa U in the current meta. But, This set is super underrated and catch opponents off guard. Hyperspace Fury, Zen Headbutt and Drain Punch can hit the whole tier for super powerfull damage, boosted further by Choice Band. The last move was personal choice. Ice punch helps hit gliscor directly because of my speed EVs and predict Great Tusk, Lando type switch ins. Max attack Adamant for maximum damage and rest of the EVs in HP to increase its survivability. 124 spe to outspead uninvested gliscor which makes hoopa a great lead aganst gliscor. Tera Dark to further increase Hyperspace Fury and maybe survive a u-turn. Hoopa U's role is to be a physical breaker and destroying stall teams.

I have established a physical breaker and decided to add a special breaker.

Serperior will work as a special braker for this team. This is a very standard set. Leaf Storm and Contrary are obv great together, glare to slow down opponents. This works well with hoopa u because it slows down opponents making both Serp and Hoopa to outspeed and hit hard. Substitute + lefovers to help with recovery and potentially win. Very standard Max spe and spa for maximum speed and damage. Tera ground + Tera blast to offensively check Fire types and avoid opponent paralysis. Serps role is be a last game sweeper/cleaner or pick up on opponents mistakes and win in the mid game.

Now I have a breaker core and I need to support both the mons

I decided to go with Clefable because it have a lot of good supporting value to my team. It is my main Stealth Rock setter, STAB Moonblast for good damage, Moonlight for self recovery and Thunder Wave to help slowdown the opponent. This is when i decided to focus on a para spam team. Unware lets Clefable wall setup mons and make it a good switch in into those positions. Standard max hap def to make it take hits. Leftovers for passive revovery. Tera Water for good defensive coverage. Clefable helps to be a good physical wall.

Samurott brings a lot of important things to my team. First, Ceaseless Edge provides strong damage with sharpness boost + helps set spikes , creating a hazard stack identity to my team. Aqua cutter to avoid contact for helmet chip/Zapdos/Moltres. Aqua Jet provides strong priority to revenge kill and knock off remove opposing heavy-duty boots. AV provides a spdef mon my team lacks. EVs are Max attack Adamant to make revenge kills stronger and Max HP to make it survive longer. 84 spe is recommended but Hoopa U provides a good enough answer to gliscor that I am confident investing in bulk.

My team is looking like a para spam + hstack team

Gholdengo is perfect addition to this team. Gholdengo allows to block spin and with Air balloon blocks Great Tusk. Hex to take advanatge of Para spam, Thunder Wave for its own para spam to help the team further, Recover to make it stick around for longer, Make It Rain for strong STAB against Fairy. EVs are standard Smogon EVs. Tera Fairy to help defensively. The role of Gholdengo is to just switch into Crovi and Tusk and make sure my hazards are up making my Hoopa U and Serps job to break easier.

And finally, Mandibuzz imo fit right into this team. It provides my own way of removing hazards because im not running heavy-duty boots spam. Roost to make Mandibuzz stick around for longer, Foul Play + Iron Defence to make my Kinggambit matchup better because as of now my team did pretty bad into it. Heavy-duty boots to avoid hazards. Max HP and 244+ def to make it a def threat and 16 spe EVs to outspeed Adamant Kinggambit. Mandibuzz helps me get a ground immunity and address physical setup mons.

Thank you for reading it all!!! Im open to any and all suggestions on my team.

First of all, I love this team. It’s super fun to pilot and all of your mons synergize well together. After messing around for a bit, I have some changes/optimizations I would like to reccomend.

:hoopa-unbound:
I have no notes, this :choice-band: set is amazing, completely rips stall, and shreds bulky cores. Love it!

:serperior: -> :darkrai:
When you talked about your offensive core, you said :serperior: was your breaker, but I really see it as a setup sweeper with contrary lead storm. I replaced it with :choice-specs: :darkrai: because it felt immediately stronger and complements :hoopa-unbound:’s physical capabilities as well as stacking dark types to overwhelm their respective checks.

:clefable:
This is an interesting one. Unaware has saved me multiple times, but paradoxically :clefable: becomes worse into hazardstack. The ability choice is yours. However now that :serperior: is gone, I think we can change thunder wave to knock off. This helps into the stall and bulky matchups, preventing mons like :weavile: from switching in too many times.

:samurott-hisui:
I don’t like :assault-vest: on :samurott-hisui:, and with :darkrai: running :choice-specs: I wanted some sort of speed control. So :samurott-hisui: now runs :choice-scarf:.

:gholdengo:
So I really didn’t like paraspam on this team, but I wanted to keep bulky :gholdengo:. We’re running bulky dazzling gleam bc its better than make it rain.

:mandibuzz:
The only thing I could say abt :mandibuzz: is switching foul play for body press, or js switching it for a :corviknight:

So those are my changes, happy laddering!
