Its colossal bulk lets it easily take on the strongest attackers in the metagame such as Spectrier and Zygarde; the particular EV spread shown can devour a +1 Meteor Beam from Nihilego, a testament to how Serious of a threat Kyurem-B can be. Meanwhile, Ice / Electric / Ground coverage lets it hit a multitude of metagame threats—from Rillaboom and Landorus-T to Tapu Fini and Incineroar—for super effective damage, ensuring that it can pack a punch even without much investment. It also provides utility in speed control with Icy Wind, which is always handy for maintaining initiative on the board.
