Alolan Marowak spooks it up in Monotype as a good Stealth Rock setter for Fire teams that don't utilize sun! Thanks to Lightning Rod, it stops Electric-type pivots such as Tapu Koko and Regieleki from running through its teammates. Brick Break is the preferred coverage option, hitting Dark- and Rock-types such as Hydreigon, Tyranitar, and Stakataka. Putting Stealth Rock on Alolan Marowak frees up Heatran to run a utility move such as Taunt or Toxic, or a coverage option such as Flash Cannon. It can even run an Air Balloon + Body Press set, giving a Ground switch-in and catching Choice Band Excadrill locked into Earthquake. Volcanion is a must as a teammate, covering the Water-type weakness. It can also support Alolan Marowak with Defog. A Ground-immune teammate like Moltres and Rotom-H is also much appreciated. Volcarona can act as a wincon and appreciates Alolan Marowak threatening some of its checks such as Mantine and Tyranitar.

(This doesn't really have anything to do with *this* set in particular) Brick Break is the preferred coverage option, hitting Dark- and Rock-types such as Hydreigon, Tyranitar, and Stakataka. Putting Stealth Rock on Alolan Marowak frees up Heatran to run a utility move such as Taunt and Toxic or a coverage option such as Flash Cannon. Volcanion is a must as a teammate, covering the Water-type weakness. It can also act as a hazard removal option with Defog, as Alolan Marowak can't afford to run Heavy-Duty Boots. A Ground immunity is also very much appreciated, so teammates like defensive Moltres and Rotom-H are appreciated (If you have room you could mention that Air Balloon + Body Press Heatran could be cool because another Ground immunity and it can afford to run BPress because Marowak-Alola is the rocker. The set is fire against Dark and funny against Steel while useful against CB Excadrill Ground). Volcarona can act as a win condition and appreciates Alolan Marowak threatening some of its checks such as Mantine and Tyranitar.
