All Out Attack

I am quite annoyed as I just attempted to post this thread but it failed, anyway I love pokemon so I decided it was about time to make my RMT that I feel comfortable playing with whilst at the same time being quite strong here is the quick glance of my ultra offensive team:

In-Depth Guide to the Team:

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spe, -SpA)
-Stealth Rock
-Taunt
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide

Aerodactyl will taunt then setup stealth rocks and then fight till the death.
Here is how I will use aerodactyl against the most common leads:
Azelf Lead: I will use taunt on azelf to hopefully stop azelf putting down stealth rocks then I will place my own stealth rocks down then switch out to Gengar with shadow ball for a nasty surprise.

Aeroodactyl Lead: I will use taunt on it to hopefully stop it's stealth rocks then use stealth rocks and then start attacking with super effective rock slide until it faints.

Swampert Lead: I will instantly use taunt then stealth rocks and then probably have fainted using aerodactyl then send in breloom with spore to put it to sleep then attack with seed bomb to quickly knock it out.

Tyranitar Lead: I will use taunt then use stealth rocks and then switch in with breloom who will use spore then spore again if it is holding chesto berry and then I will destroy it with 4x damage focus punch.

Metagross Lead: I will use taunt then stealth rock and earthquake until it explodes or faints.

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
-Subsitute
-Shadow Ball
-HP Fire/Ice (can't decide yet but I will test them both)
-Thunderbolt

My new Gengar (which is the same Gengar different moves) has been put to the test with HP Fire and now it is working tons better and I think I may have found a set that works for me and Gengar, of course thanks a lot Death Ark for this set. I usually switch in when I'm scouting out pokemon especially scizor and use subsitute. Then I already have stealth rocks up so it makes switching quite painful. Then I just attack with my three moves because they work quite nicely and chances are one move will be super effective out of the three of them.
286.png

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 48 HP / 252 Atk / 208 Spe
Adament nature (+Atk, -SpA)
-Spore
-Focus Punch
-Seed Bomb
-Stone Edge

Breloom can quickly put pokemon to sleep with Spore then safley use focus punch and hammer the sleeping pokemon to pulp until it faints. Breloom is a class pokemon with it's two favorite attributes put together in the move spore and it's poison heal that can together with some good offensive moves wipe out whole teams. That's why I have also equipped it with focus punch and seed bomb. This pokemon has got it's speed EVs so that it can outspeed some pokemon and put them asleep then I will switch it out to a pokemon that is super effective or pummel it with focus punch. If there are any pokemon that I have no super effective pokemon to use against I will always look to Breloom for help as it can put any pokemon to sleep very quickly and easily.

143.png

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave nature (+Atk, -Spe)
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Fire Punch
-Body Slam

Snorlax will kill with fire or ice punch until it is on low HP then it will rest and use sleep talk to attack until it wakes up. Snorlax is a general powerhouse all out attack sort of pokemon with a high HP which is why he is a main feature in my team and the first pokemon I thought of to use in my team. He has two great attacks for when he is awake: Fire Punch and Body Slam. Fire Punch is to deal with any grass, ice, bug or steel pokemon whilst Body Slam is the STAB attack that is extremely powerful when dealing with pokemon which I have no super effective attacks against. Also for when he is on low HP I will just use rest and attack with sleep talk until it wakes up again. If it comes under attack by a stong fighting type like machamp it will switch out to gengar or if it comes under attack by lucario it will switch to lucario.
453.png

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adament nature (+Atk, -SpA)
-Close Combat
-Swords Dance
-Extremespeed
-Ice Punch

Lucario is my favourite sweeper of all time and here I will test his limits. He will usually stay in his ball until late game which is where he exells, though he will usually make an earlier game appearence to sweep a pokemon. Ice punch is regulaly used when dealing with pesky dragon type monsters like Salamence and Dragonite, Extremespeed is for a swords dance-extremespeed combo to knock out weak but fast pokemon and Close Combat is a pure power STAB attack that is used after swords dance to sweep almost any pokemon. Meet the sweeper.
181.png

Ampharos @ Light Clay
Abillity: Static
EVs: 252 HP / 176 SpA / 80 SpD
Modest nature (+SpA, -Atk)
-Discharge
-Toxic
-Hidden Power Grass
-Light Screen

Ampharos will usually switch in to pokemon it is strong against usually forcing them to switch out which is why his first move will always be light screen then he will use toxic when they switch in with a pokemon immune to electric or if they don't switch out I will attack with discharge and knock them out. Also many people underestimate ampharos as a speacial attack using tank so I have taught it hidden power grass so that anyone who switches in with a ground type will be punished also many people will have to worry about the possibility of it having hidden power ice or grass and that will be a difficult choice of whether to risk it knowing ice hidden power so hopefully that knowledge will prevent them with any powerful dragon types.

Thanks everyone who has rated my team so far. Please keep the advice coming as it is hugely appriciated.

Gliscor can cause many problems for your team. After Sleep Clause and if it has sandstorm support with Sandveil your team will have trouble stopping it.

Gliscor:
Taunt
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Swords Dance/Rock Polish/Roost

Snorlax is the only Pokemon with an ice move on your team, and you have no water moves, but Gliscor can switch in on a Rest, then prevent you from using Sleep Talk by Taunting. Then proceed to spam EQ on Snorlax or switch to another Pokemon to set up. Earthquake takes care of Ampharos and Lucario. Aerial Ace will wreck Breeloom and still cause problems for Gengar since it can't do anything with Sleep Clause. And it's fourth move will make it even deadlier, Roost is healing but can make it weak to you grass moves, Swords Dance obviously increases its Attack allowing it to do more damage, but Rock Polish will likely be the worst for your team, because after a +2 speed boost it can outspeed Lucario after Salac Berry.

I would recommend switching Gengar into a Choice Specs set,
"Timid" Gengar:Choice Specs
252 SpAtt, 252 Spd, 4 Def
Trick
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
HP Fire/Ice

Trick can really f@*# up the previously mentioned Gliscor, trapping it on Aerial Ace or, if your lucky, Rock Polish. HP Ice hits Gliscor and dragons hard, which is something your missing on this team, and Fire is for Scizor, on of Gengars, common checks. Shadow Ball does the most damage against Gliscor if you chose HP Fire, and Thunderbolt is for good coverage.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but that gengar set is a fail. Your opponent could easily switch out, making your strategy unable to work, due to sleep clause. On top of that, you have no STAB attacks, making gengar extremely unnessesary. Replace him with the following set:

Gengar @ Life Orb
252 Spe/252 SpA/4 HP
Timid Nature
~Substitude
~Shadow Ball
~Thunderbolt
~Hidden Power Fire

This set allows your gengar a chance at a sweep. Substitute is used for scouting out your opponent on the switch, and if the switch is scizor, HP fire it, and leave it a nasty surprise when it pursuits or bullet punches.

Also, replace Snorlax's ice punch with return or body slam, because you don't have a stab attack and ice + fire doesn't offer best coverage.

Replace the reversal lucario with the standard SD sweeper with CC, extremespeed and either ice punch, crunch, or stone edge. There is just too many priority users running around and your lucario has a better chance at using the standard SD sweeper set than the reversal set.

Replace Ampharos with something else. I was thinking either gyarados or scizor. Gyarados can be a bulky asset to your team while covering some weaknesses, but scizor can be a great revenge killer or scouter.

Hi I have read both of the comments and I will change my gengar to the life orb one, snorlax will learn body slam and I will change lucario.

P.S These changes may be tommorrow but don't worry they will happen!

Hi, sadly, wide lens only increases accuracy by 10%.. meaning your measly hypnosis 60% is now a 66% accuracy move.. which isnt so much better....

Your lucario is pretty good, but in the OU environment, it may be hard to net some key kills as a sweeper (especially if youre relying on SD) cause lucarios base speed is only 90. Both ghosts are faster base speed-wise, but i guess with endure-reversal its not too big of a problem... (but you still might get owned) just depends on what you want to use Lucario for....

From all the status-inducers you have on your team, it looks more like that type of team than an all out attack one. In any case, you might want to consider a Skarmory on your team (maybe instead of lax?) to set up Spikes (or a Toxic Spiker of some sort) because putting pokemon to sleep causes switches, and with spikes up switching is just more painful (pun intended).

sorry for the vague tips, but ill try to post some more when i have time! good luck!

Sorry but I'm not changing snorlax to skamory by the way it was originally meant to be an all out attack team but things changed as it had a lot of weaknesses so I changed the team around a bit but saved the post and forgot to change the name.

My team has now been updated and tested. This is the team so far but I'm still up for a couple of changes and I'd like to put a Skarmory with poison spikes in or another pokemon with poison spikes in as it would make switching more painful than stealth rocks.

Just re-tested on shoddy and Won: 16 Lost: 5
So not bad but still room for improvement so please help my team (snorlax and aerodactyl are not going to be changed as they were the best 2 and gengar 3rd)
P.S what's wrong with double posting if there like 28 hours apart?

Hey, is anyone gonna rate? By the way I need advice on what type of set I should use on a scizor to replace ampharos please help!
