Rejected - Inactive Add a warning when u-turn/volt-switch fails to switch you out because of emergency exit/eject button

This interaction is not well known which often leads to confusion when it occurs. Even if you do know about this interaction, if you aren't paying attention it's easy to switch normally without realizing your switch was replaced by the one from emergency exit/eject button. On a related note, it might also be a good idea to add a warning when you fail to switch out with emergency exit/eject button because your opponent has sheer force.

For Eject Button in particular, this hint message could only be shown to the player with the item, because otherwise it would be an information leak to the U-turn / Volt Switch user. I'm not a huge fan of providing a hint for Sheer Force either, because this would again have to be only to the Eject Button player, and while you technically aren't leaking anything because you should know it's Sheer Force at that point, I'm not a fan of the hand-holding. It'd be like revealing in chat explicitly that the opponent has Safety Goggles when they don't take sand damage; while it may not be technically an info leak, stating the cause outright is I think too much information revealed, and it should primarily be the responsibility of the player to know those interactions.

Out of curiosity, would saying something less specific, like "The Eject Button is being suppressed by another effect!" or even simply "The Eject Button was not triggered!" (still only to the Eject Button/Emergency Exit user, not the other player, who shouldn't know) be an effective middle ground, indicating that it's not a bug/that it's an expected mechanic without explicitly stating the cause?
I know Showdown has similar messages for interactions like Dark-types and Prankster, which a) technically does reveal Prankster and b) was added because it was commonly missed and mistaken for a bug, and this feels like a similar enough case that I think Apathetic Inaction's concern makes sense (although I agree that avoiding information leaks should be a priority).

I don't see how this would leak information. The u-turn user uses u-turn, then eject button activates on the opponent. The u-turn user knows the opponent has eject button because eject button announces itself when it activates. If I'm wrong and this does somehow leak information then of course this message shouldn't be shown to both players.
For the other situation with sheer force and emergency exit/eject button I agree that a warning as to exactly why you didn’t switch out is unnecessary, but as Hematite said having a message appear which indicates this isn’t a glitch would be helpful.

I am a moron - you're right, there would be no information leak for Eject Button vs. U-turn.
