Mega Mawile is one of my favorite Mega Evolutions, due to it's amazing attack & defensive bulk. However, it's Speed it quite embarrassing, & one hit of flamethrower or Earthquake can just destroy our fellow Mawile. Hopefully this team can make our obscure 3rd gen beast shine!
Mawile
@ Mawilite
EVs: 252 Att/252 Def
Ability: Hypper Cutter / Huge Power
Adament Nature
Swords Dance
Play Rough
Sucker Punch
Fire Fang
Here she is, the beautiful beast. I have her EV's obviously spread to where they should be. Swords Dance is to boost her attack (that is, if you haven't already w/ baton pass) to a jaw dropping level. I have Play Rough as her STAB to scare away any dragon threats, Fire Fang to take out pesky Ferrothron, Scizor, & maybe even Mega-Venasaur, & sucker punch as a priority.
Scolipede
@ Black Sludge
EVs: 252 HP/126 Def/126 SpD
Ability: Speed Boost
Impish/Careful Nature
Baton Pass
Protect
Toxic
Swords Dance
This Pokemon is purely just to support Mega Mawile. Speed Boost is a must, if you're going to Baton Pass into Mawile, to help bring her awful speed up. The EV's are spread to help Scolipede's sub par defense's. Toxic & Speed Boost work very well together with Protect. I can slowly damage the for with toxic, whilst my speed go's up each turn I manage to stall with protect. Swords Dance is present to get a few extra stat boosts, if the opponent has to switch out. When you feel that the Stat Boosts are good, you can Baton Pass into Mawile.
Vaporeon
Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP/ 126 Def/126 SpD
Ability: Hydration
Bold/Calm Nature
Baton Pass
Wish
Protect
Scald
Another support Pokemon. Vaporeon's a very good Baton Pass partner with Scolipede, as she can take incoming flamethrower's or Ice Beam's headed his way. Baton Pass is if Scolipede is in danger, she can take the stats, & then Baton Pass back into Scolipede or Mega Mawile, if she's ready. Wish is used in combination with Protect to keep Vaporeon's HP up after she's taken other Pokemon's hits. It can also be used to heal crippled Pokemon, & works well with Baton Pass if Mawile not doing too hot. The final spot was tough for me, but I went with Scald as a basic STAB move. With the lack of will-o-wisp on my team, Scald fits nicely to potentially burn strong physical attackers.
Latias
@ Light Clay
EVs: 252 HP/252 Spe
Ability: Levitate
Timid Nature
Light Screen
Reflect
Draco Meteor / Healing Wish
Defog
To help cope with Scolipede's bad Defenses, I have Latias as a Duel Screener. The Light Clay with help Reflect & Light Screen last 10 turns, as long as someone doesn't have brick break. Draco Meteor is to take on other Dragon's, & to make sure we aren't complete Taunt bait. If you're comfortable enough to work around Taunt, you can put on Healing Wish, to sacrifice Latias to wounded Mawile. Sense entry hazards are a fair threat to my team, Latias will use her final spot as defog, to rid of any annoying stealth rocks or spikes.
Vileplume
@ Black Sludge
EVs: 252 HP/ 126 Def/ 126 SpD
Ability: Effect Spore
Bold Nature
Moonlight
Aromatherapy
Sleep Powder
Giga Drain / Sludge Bomb
Usually I put heal bell on Vaporeon, but with an already full moveset, I've placed it onto a completely different Pokemon altogether. Although Vileplume doesn't have Baton Pass, it makes a very good partner for Vaporeon, covering each other's weaknesses quite well. Sense Vileplume's main function is to wall, I have moonlight as a basic restoring move. Aromatherapy is Vileplume's main usage, to clear all status effects from the party. Sleep Powder can be a double sided sword, due to the Metagame's sleep clause. However, if you can pull of at least one sleep powder, it's very helpful. The last spot is preserved for a STAB. Giga Drain is to restore any health that you can't seem to pull off with Moonlight, & Sludge Bomb is there to potentially Poison any vulnerable foe. It's really up to personal preference.
Rotom-W
@ Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability: Levitate
Timid Nature
Thunderbolt
Hydro Pump
Volt Switch
Trick
For my typical lead, it was either Rotom Wash or Sableye. I figured I needed someone who could pull of some solid Special Attack Moves. I have the Choice Scarf on his, paired up with Trick & Volt Switch. If I lead with Rotom & the situation looks ugly, I can usually just Volt Switch out. If it looks pretty good for me, I use a trick, giving the foe's lead a choice scarf. This usually make leads like Roserade, Skarmory, Shuckle, and Krokadile useless. Thunder Bolt & Hydro Pump both as effective STAB's to do work on ground & water Pokemon.
PLEASE give criticism, I would love to hear from you guys! :)
