been spriting on-and-off for a long while now, but i've recently decided to take it more seriously. let this thread be a progress tracker of sorts :>

mini update:
so i wanted to try recolouring leafeon's leaves to look like those of the poinsettia plant (it's really pretty) and then things went on from there

this one's titled holiday cheer erika in my files. i was planning to recolour jirachi until i noticed that its shiny matched erika and my poinsettia leafeon! happy little coincidence. erika-masters is by kyledove.

i also tried (kinda) recolouring n's anniversary outfit:

i think the blue looks nice. i was originally gonna do green to try and make another holiday custom avi but green suit + green hair doesn't pair so well ahah. n-masters is by kyledove.

didn't have much time on my hands for a bit (booo finals >:l) but i did turn a bunch of pokemon purple :P

another quick update of sorts:
so, i figured that i could practice scratch spriting by "remastering" some older sprites to fit in with the style of the DS games.
behold, my first attempt: a remaster of the aroma lady sprite in FRLG. i think i could have picked an easier sprite to remaster lol; i struggled with making the pose look right. nevertheless, i'm proud of the result! not too bad for my first "proper" scratch sprite.

perhaps one day i will revisit this, but i do like how it looks so far.

to round out this post, i turned the entire ralts family purple as well:

did i mention how much i love the colour purple

i wish i had a bigger update but uni has been killing me taking up a lot of my time

i sprited fairy miku :> though i uh did take a couple of creative liberties with the design. this took me like two weeks :skull:
