[SET COMMENTS]
  • Ice Spinner is an alternative to Icicle Crash because of its better accuracy, but it is slightly weaker, cannot flinch, and is a contact move.
  • Ice Shard hits Miraidon and Koraidon for super effective damage, 2HKOing the former, and 2HKOes Flutter Mane reliably. Sucker Punch may be considered over Ice Shard, as it does more damage to Iron Bundle and can KO Flutter Mane, but it misses out on revenge killing Koraidon and is often prediction-reliant.
  • Sacred Sword allows Chien-Pao to OHKO Chi-Yu, Kingambit, and opposing Chien-Pao, which otherwise resist its STAB moves.
  • Chien-Pao can use Tera Dark to make Crunch stronger and 2HKO Corviknight and Toxapex if it gets lucky with a Defense drop. Chien-Pao can also use Tera Ice in order to 2HKO Corviknight more reliably and boost Ice Shard damage—notably against Miraidon, Flutter Mane, and Koraidon. Lastly, Tera Electric Chien-Pao with Tera Blast can easily break through bulky checks like Toxapex, Corviknight, and Dondozo.
  • Chien-Pao fits best with other strong wallbreakers that benefit from the removal of defensive walls. These include Koraidon, Miraidon, Iron Bundle, and offensive Great Tusk.
  • Defensive partners like Ting-Lu, Great Tusk, and Skeledirge are mandatory to handle fast and strong threats like Koraidon and Miraidon, as Chien-Pao cannot OHKO them if they are at full health. Additionally, Great Tusk and Ting-Lu can set up entry hazards, which is crucial for getting chip on defensive walls.

  • Crunch and Icicle Crash are Chien-Pao's strongest STAB moves and have a chance to drop Defense and flinch its foe respectively. Ice Spinner is an alternative to Icicle Crash because of its better accuracy, but it is slightly weaker, cannot flinch, and is a contact move.
  • Ice Shard is the best priority move option because it hits Miraidon and Koraidon for super effective damage, 2HKOing the former, and also 2HKOing Flutter Mane reliably. Sucker Punch may be considered over Ice Shard as it is a stronger move and does more damage to Iron Bundle and can KO Flutter Mane, but it misses out on revenge killing Koraidon and often relies on predictions.
  • Sacred Sword is a solid pick as it allows Chien-Pao to OHKO Chi-Yu, Kingambit, and foe Chien-Pao, which otherwise resists its STAB moves.
  • Terastallizing into Dark-type makes Crunch stronger and lets it 2HKO Corviknight and Toxapex if it gets lucky with a Defense drop. Chien-Pao can also terastallize into Ice-type in order to 2HKO Corviknight more reliably and to boost Ice Shard damage - notably against Miraidon, Flutter Mane, and Koraidon. Lastly, Tera Electric Chien-Pao with Tera Blast can break through bulky checks like Toxapex, Corviknight, and Dondozo with ease.
  • Chien-Pao is a threatening breaker and fits best with other strong Pokemon that benefit from the removal of defensive walls. These include Koraidon, Miraidon, Iron Bundle, and offensive Great Tusk.
  • Defensive partners like Skeledirge, Toxapex, Ting-Lu, Blissey,(subjective change; I hate Blissey outside of stall and I can't see it being run w/ Chien-Pao) Iron Treads, and Great Tusk are mandatory to handle fast and strong threats like Koraidon, Miraidon, Flutter Mane, and Iron Bundle as Chien-Pao cannot OHKO them if they are at maximum health.

Change the set name to All-out Attacker

Defensive partners like Skeledirge, Toxapex, Ting-Lu, Iron Treads, and Great Tusk are mandatory to handle fast and strong threats like Koraidon, Miraidon, Flutter Mane, and Iron Bundle as Chien-Pao cannot OHKO them if they are at maximum health.
None of these walls actually beat Iron Bundle without tera so I wouldn't list it here. I'd probably cut down this list to primarily Ting-Lu, Great Tusk, and maybe Skeledirge. I'd also mention that the first 2 can set hazards which is super important for getting chip on walls, and Skeledirge checks Scarf Korai which is separate but good. If you really wanted something that can beat flutter as a mention then garg or treads work, but with very minor chip you don't have to switch out of flutter since shard or sucker will drop it.
