Blissey provides an invaluable wall on normal teams thanks to its gigantic HP and incredible special defense making it the premiere special wall for the type handling threats like Landorus, Latios, and Darkrai with ease. Seismic Toss acts as Blissey's main form of damage providing a consistent form of pressure against opposing bulky targets like Moltres and Toxapex. Stealth Rock wears down would be problems to normal teams like Enamorus and Ogerpon-H. Finally Thunder Wave cripples offensive threats such as Flutter Mane and Iron Moth making it far easier for teammates like Ursaluna and Hisuian Zoroark to outspeed and remove them. The main EV Spread maximizes Blissey's physical defense enabling comfortably handle weak physical attackers like Clodsire while the alternative EV Spread still retains respectable physical bulk while increasing Blissey's capabilities of handling special attacks from foes such as Kyurem.
Porygon2 serves as a wonderful physically bulky compliment to Blissey handling threats like physical Dragapult variants, Landorus-T, and Ogerpon-W for Blissey while appreciating Blissey checking threats like Zapdos and Greninja for Porygon2.
