**Ice-type Pokemon and Coverage**: Weavile and Kyurem-B outpace an unboosted Kommo-o and force it out with their super effective STAB moves. Additionally, Ice Beam from Protean Greninja and Mega Latias also threatens to pick off Kommo-o.
**Dragon-types**: Mega Charizard X, Garchomp, and a boosted Dragonite outpace an unboosted Kommo-o and strike back with their super effective STAB options. Mega Altaria deserves a mention due to its Dragon immunity and Fighting resistance, and targets Kommo-o's Fairy weakness with a Pixilate-boosted Body Slam or Hyper Voice.
**Faster Revenge Killers and Priority**: Mega Alakazam and Tornadus-T outrun Kommo-o before a boost, while Unburden Hawlucha and Choice Scarf users like Landorus-T and Kartana outpace a boosted Kommo-o. However, Landorus-T and Kartana can only pick Kommo-o off if it is either at low HP or drops its Defense stat with Clanging Scales or Close Combat. Additionally, priority users like Mega Medicham, Mega Lopunny, Mega Pinsir, and Weavile can come in and pick off a weakened Kommo-o.
**Status**: Kommo-o despises all forms of status ailments, especially Toxic from Pokemon like Toxapex, Seismitoad, and Gastrodon, as it can render specially defensive Kommo-o useless and put even offensive variants on a timer. While none of these Pokemon enjoy being shut down by Taunt from the Kommonium Z variant, they can also cripple it with Scald. If Kommo-o lacks Taunt and isn't running Substitute, Rotom-W can also threaten it with Will-O-Wisp.
