With a bulkier spread Heatran can hold the line reliably against attempts to break steel teams from threats such as Choice Specs Dragapult and Iron Moth. Magma Storm eliminates Steel-types such as Skarmory and Scizor while also enabling Heatran to trap and deal chip damage to threats like Toxapex and Hisuian Goodra. Alternatively Lava Plume can be used to fish for burns and superior accuracy. Earth Power handles Steel-types capable of handling Heatran's Fire moves such as opposing Heatran and Hisuian Goodra along with dealing with Poison- and Electric-types like Galarian Slowking and Raging Bolt. Power Gem nails Volcarona and Air Balloon Heatran on the switch along with hitting Flying-types such as Moltres and Zapdos. Finally, Protect can allow Heatran to scout against Choice locked threats like Greninja and Iron Moth, alternatively Stealth Rock can be used to set hazards freeing up moveslots from teammates like Archaludon while Will-O-Wisp can punish physical attackers attempting to switch into Heatran such as Hisuian Samurott. The given EV Spread enables Heatran to outspeed Modest Magnezone and survive a +2 Ceruledge Poltergeist from full while putting the rest into its Special Defense. The alternative EV Spread maximizes Heatran's special bulk preventing Choice Specs Spectrier from 2HKOing Heatran.

Heatran when paired with Skarmory and Gholdengo, creates Steel's immunity core Heatran providing the Fire immunity which both appreciate. In return Skarmory provides a Ground immunity and physical wall capable of handling threats like Excadrill and Hisuian Samurott while Gholdengo provides a Fighting immunity allowing it to easily check Fighting-types such as Sneasler and Iron Valiant. Together they also make a strong hazard stacking core with Heatran providing Stealth Rock, Skarmory providing Spikes, and Gholdengo being able to block removal attempts from Forretress and Corviknight. Archaludon can handle Water-types like Ogerpon-W and Barraskewda along with physical Fire-type such as Ogerpon-H and Cinderace that can handle Heatran while Choice Scarf sets are able to outspeed and check foes like Walking Wake with Draco Meteor and Urshifu-R with Thunderbolt. Air Balloon Iron Treads can handle Electric-types like Sandy Shocks and Raging Bolt while also being able to use Ice Spinner to check Gliscor and Landorus. Hisuian Goodra provides a sturdier special wall capable of handling special threats which can threaten to overwhelm Heatran like Choice Specs Greninja, Darkrai, and Walking Wake while appreciating Heatran checking Iron Moth and Volcarona. Swords Dance Scizor's Bullet Punch is capable of handling threats like Iron Valiant and Flutter Mane for Heatran along with using Trailblaze to pressure Water-types such as Swampert and Primarina.

Heavy Slam can be used to handily deal with Flutter Mane and Clefable. Running Ability shield can be an option to check Ogerpon-H but does give up Heatran's passive recovery. Substitute can be used over its other utility option making the mirror much rougher for opposing Steel teams along with enabling Heatran to more reliably fish for Lava Plume burns.

With a bulkier spread Heatran can hold the lines reliably against attempts to break steel teams from threats such as Spectrier and Iron Moth. and Magma Storm traps and eliminates Steel-types such as Skarmory, Gholdengo (doesnt trap + some spreads live etc), and Scizor. Earth Power handles opposing Fire-types like Ninetales and Torkoal along with dealing with Poison and Electric-types such as Toxapex and Magnezone. Power Gem nails Volcarona along with hitting Flying-types such as Moltres and Zapdos. Finally, Protect can allow Heatran to scout against Choice locked threats like Greninja and Iron Moth along with chip healing (kinda awkward, maybe just say it provides some additional healing), alternatively Stealth Rock can be used to set hazards freeing up moveslots from teammates like Archaludon while Will-O-Wisp can punish physical attackers attempting to switch into Heatran such as Hisuian Samurott. The given EV Spread given enables Heatran to outspeed Timid Magnezone (true i guess but perhaps we can pick something more common?) and survive a +2 Ceruledge Poltergeist from full while maximizing its Special Defense.

Skarmory provides an incredible Ground immunity along with having incredible physical bulk enabling it to check threats to Heatran such as Excadrill, Mamoswine, and Hisuian Samurott. Gholdengo Thanks to its Ghost-typing, Gholdengo handles Fighting-types like Sneasler and Iron Valiant while also being able to use Thunder Wave to slow down the likes of Tornadus-T. Archaludon can handle Water-types like Urshifu-R and Barraskewda along with physical Fire-type such as Ogerpon-H and Cinderace that can handle Heatran. Choice Band Scizor Bullet Punch is capable of handling threats like Iron Valiant and Flutter Mane for Heatran along with using Trailblaze to pressure Water-types such as Swampert and Primarina.

good, some of it is kinda nitpicky but thats just how i am when it comes to this i guess. some of the stuff in the teammate section is a little awkward because archaludon doesn't really wanna switch in on urshifu because of cc but there arent that many other options so what can you do, maybe the next person can figure out how to address what im talking about

With a bulkier spread Heatran can hold the line reliably against attempts to break steel teams from threats such as Spectrier (Spectrie doesnt feel that great mrrp because specstrier hits too hard. Maybe the better mention is stuff like Dragapult (uses fire moves and isnt as strong as Spec) imo) and Iron Moth. Magma Storm traps and eliminates Steel-types such as Skarmory, Tinkaton, and Scizor (you dont trap these they just die mrrp. No need for stinkaton. Just mention it eliminates, or if you want to, trapping and giving Toxapex / Hisuian Goodra the stinky aka more chip damage. Mention Lava Plume too) . Earth Power handles opposing Fire-types like Ninetales and Torkoal along with dealing with Poison and Electric-types such as Toxapex and Magnezone(meow would rather see this being able to break apart steel, rather than mentioning Nine or Koal which probably dont wanna with Heatran/has better things to do) . Power Gem nails Volcarona (opposing Air Balloon Heatrans) along with hitting Flying-types such as Moltres and Zapdos. The given EV Spread enables Heatran to outspeed Modest Magnezone and survive a +2 Ceruledge Poltergeist from full while maximizing (putting the rest into?) its Special Defense.

Skarmory provides an incredible Ground immunity along with having incredible physical bulk enabling it to check threats to Heatran such as Excadrill, Mamoswine, and Hisuian Samurott. (mention Corvi in passing later, with BU set benefitting from wisp) Thanks to its Ghost-typing, Gholdengo handles Fighting-types like Sneasler and Iron Valiant while also being able to use Thunder Wave to slow down the likes of Tornadus-T. (mention NP sets. Alternatively, scrap first 2 sentence and mention these two complete immunity core with skarm dealing with xyz, ghold with abc. Furthermore, skarm also does this. Ghold can also do this too...like that) Archaludon can handle Water-types like Urshifu-R Ogerpon-W and Barraskewda along with physical Fire-type such as Ogerpon-H and Cinderace that can handle Heatran (mention scarf sets and bullying some dragons too). Choice Band Scizor Bullet Punch is capable of handling threats like Iron Valiant and Flutter Mane for Heatran along with using Trailblaze to pressure Water-types such as Swampert and Primarina.

add other options
>Hslam for FM and Clefable
>ability shield for Oger-H, which is cope but definitely gets used
>substitute can make opposing steel teams squirm because it becomes 10x more annoying and with lava plume fishing for burn it can be very stinky

Meow would like to sniff the analysis before sending it to GP, Ty in advance Pengairxan meow

deal immense damage to threats like Toxapex and Hisuian
Deal...chip damage. Or can be just whittling down

The alternative EV Spread maximums Heatran's special bulk preventing Choice Specs Spectrier from 2HKOing Heatran.
Maximums->Maximizes

Archaludon can handle Water-types like Ogerpon-W and Barraskewda along with physical Fire-type such as Ogerpon-H and Cinderace that can handle Heatran with Choice Scarf sets being able to outspeed and check foes like Walking Wake and Dragonite.
Dragonite unideal since multiscale, maybe Urshifu-R could be nice tho

Choice Band Scizor Bullet Punch is capable of handling threats like Iron Valiant and Flutter Mane for Heatran along with using Trailblaze to pressure Water-types such as Swampert and Primarina.
Idt CB Sciz is using Trailblaze, either mention sd sets or just mention pivoting it around as guy draws in skarmory and arch among others

Qc 2/2, ty mrrp
