Iron Head handles foes not particularly bothered by Body Press such as Kleavor, Iron Boulder, and Enamorus. Alternatively Brave Bird can OHKO threats like Lokix, Sneasler, and Ogerpon-W after minor chip while putting immense pressure onto Urshifu-R. 12 Attack EVs are used with Iron Head to allow Corviknight to OHKO Flutter Mane, otherwise going for max Defense with either alternative option is preferred.

Gliscor and the Landorus formes provide an incredible electric immunity enabling them to handle the likes of Raging Bolt and Iron Heads while also checking Fire-types such as Iron Moth and Cinderace along with being able to set Stealth Rock. Gliscor can further assist Corviknight by using Toxic to wear down opposing physical walls like Great Tusk and Sinistcha. Meanwhile the Landorus formes equip with a Choice Scarf can deal with Volcarona, Ogerpon-H, Gholdengo, and the aforementioned Iron Moth, respectively. Specially Defensive Articuno, thanks to Freeze Dry and Haze, applies pressure to opposing Flying-types along with Water-types such Pelipper and Primarina along with being able to tank Ice Beams from threats like Kyurem and Greninja. Assault Vest Tornadus-T can assist against powerful special attackers like Iron Valiant and Hisuian Zoroark along with providing Knock Off support to remove Rocky Helmet from foes like Ting-Lu and Skarmory. Choice Band Dragonite helps to handle Fire-types like Ceruledge along with using Extreme Speed to pick off fast foes like Meowscarada and Urshifu-R while appreciating Corviknight handling Ice- and Rock-types. Choice Scarf Enamorus can break through Dragon- and Dark-type threats like Choice Specs Dragapult, Kyurem, and Darkrai. Lastly, Nasty Plot Galarian Moltres thanks to Fiery Wrath can check the likes of Gholdengo and Pecharunt which Corviknight struggles to touch while appreciating Corviknight using Iron Head to remove Fairy-types like Enamorus. Gyarados can help to handle physical attackers like Mamoswine and Ceruledge with Intimidate along with threats like Volcarona.
